Two people were present at the front desk when we entered; neither spoke any English. I offer that not as a complaint — we were in Germany, after all — but you should be aware we encountered some difficulty in explaining we wanted tickets for just the regular museum displays and not the special exhibit there. But once we got past that, the collection itself lived up to its billing, and it is incredible, spanning not just centuries but millennia. Almost all information on the displays is in English, so there is no language barrier there. As for the displays, everything is laid out in a logical and easy-to-follow form. There are few museums like this anywhere else, and this one is well worth a visit.

Un museo muy interesante, pues está concentrado en joyería. Una excepcional colección de peinetas. Posee un diseño arquitectónico muy bonito

C'est une expérience intense et incontournable pour les amateurs de bijoux. La collection historique est exhaustive et comporte de nombreux bijoux exceptionnels que l'on peut enfin voir en réalité.

This museum houses a fantastic and diverse collection of jewellery from more than 2000 years ago to the present. An excellent destination in a city like Pforzheim, where unfortunately the city centre itself can hardly be counted as a tourist highlight....
We found the Egyptian jewellery incredibly interesting, and were also charmed by the explanations about Art Nouveau and Jugendstil.

Wij vonden vooral de tentoonstelling van de ijzerwaren juwelen prachtig. Zo uniek en fijntjes gemaakt. Verdere juwelen zijn verdeeld over meerdere etages. Prachtig tentoongesteld. Van oorbellen zak horloges kettingen armbanden en alleen uit verschillende jaar tijden. Wij waren er ongeveer 1,5 uur. Er is een café naast maar dat verliep bij ons slecht. Wat we wilden hadden ze niet en we waren niet zichtbaar. Waardoor we ruim 10 minuten hebben moeten wachten voor de bestelling en ook weer de rekening. Jammer

Für Schmuck- und Museumsliebhaber ein Muss. Wir waren insgesamt 3,5 Stunden im Museum ohne Führung und es hat sich mehr als gelohnt.

Музей ювелирных изделий в Пфорцхайме – уникальный музей, посвященный истории ювелирных украшений. Около 2000 экспонатов представляют украшения от античности до наших дней: ювелирные украшения этрусков, роскошные изделия в стиле барокко, оригинальные изделия в стиле модерн. Этнографическая коллекция украшений заставляет задуматься, за что бьется род людской? Может быть, цель жизни - роскошные перья вымирающих птиц? Или слепящий блеск бриллиантов? За красотой скрывается статус обладателя, человеческие страсти. Музей интересный и познавательный. Билет стоит 3.5 евро.

Een uniek museum met de geschiedenis van juwelen uit de hele wereld, duidelijk uitgelegd in duits en engels . Zeer interessant en leuk , leuk café erbij met lekker gebak. Aanrader !
