Tolle Aussicht auf das Schloss. Da wir nicht rein sind und ohne Trubel auf die Brücke wollten sind wir vom Hotel ganz früh losgelaufen und waren um 7 Uhr morgens die einzigen auf der Marienbrücke. So konnten wir in Ruhe alles auf uns wirken lassen. Die Brücke ist aber nicht geeignet wenn man nicht schwindelfrei ist.

Situé à 15 minutes a pieds du château, ce pont offre une vue magnifique sur le château. Vues que l'on a tout au long de la balade.

Breathtaking view! There are others on the bridge enjoying the view with you, but that’s to be expected at such an amazing place. Don’t be that person taking an instagram photo shoot. Seriously for all the people in the world who take normal pictures - find a different spot.

La vista merita, soprattutto andando al ponte dove si ammira tutta lavalle sottostante. Consiglio di evitare di fare ore di coda per salire sul ponte ma di proseguire suola strada che scende a destra in discesa per ammirare della stessa vista da appena più sotto risoetto all’ingresso del ponte

Nice day trip from Munich and the views are amazing. You can plan your own adventure from Munich by rail and bus. Bring a picnic lunch to avaid the crouds in the cafe's

Una pasada las vistas desde el puente, estuve en otoño y estaba precioso, lleno de colores y con el castillo al fondo …..wow!!!.
A mi personalmente el puente me dio mal rollo, aunque el armazón es metal, la base que pisas son tablones de madera que se movían algo…controlaban las personas que podían están a lo largo del puente.
No mires lo que hay debajo si tienes vértigo, pero al centro del puente hay que llegar para tener la mejor vista

This place has a permanent place in my heart. It offers a gorgeous view to Neuschwanstein.

No time to enter the castle but took the bus to the bridge for the view of the castle. It was worth the trip, the castle was beautiful. Many visitors crowded the bridge but it can't be helped unless there is a staff to do crowd control. However, most visitors crowd at the entrance to the bridge , so for more comfortable viewing, move to the other end of the bridge.

Helaas konden we geen kaartjes meer krijgen om het kasteel in te gaan. Gelukkig sliepen we 1 nachtje in het hotel bij de parkeerplaatsen en hebben we s'avonds een heerlijke rustige wandeling hier naartoe kunnen maken. Zeker de moeite waard. Zorg wel voor goede schoenen en een zakje conditie!

When visiting Schlöß Neuschwanstein, a visit to this bridge is a must. You get the most breathtaking view of the castle. If it wasn’t for the fact that my knees had turned to jelly, I’d have stayed there all day! Haha! My jaw just dropped when I saw the castle from the bridge, and my eyes were like saucers. I just can’t get over how beautiful the view from the bridge is!

The bridge is closed, and will be closed through the end of 2022.
Can anyone who tried to go the bridge recently tell WHERE the blockade is placed? Is it very close to the bridge?

We intend to visit Marienbrucke late afternoon in August when we are on our way driving from Oberammergau to Fussen. Can anyone advise the closest possible parking to the bridge? Also, can anyone advise whether late afternoon will be a good time to take a nice photo (as regards the position of the sun) of Neuschwanstein Castle?

There is a parking spot called Mariënbrucke at about 100m away from the bridge. When visiting the castle you can walk to the bridge in about 10 minutes, but it will be crowded in the afternoon. Light is at iymt's best, but withe the correct filter you can also take a good shot as from early morning. In fact, I was there this morning at 6:30 to escape the crowds (in the afternoon you sometimes need to queu for over 1hr, due to covid-restrictions)

Call or email your question to TI (tourist information office) which located on promise, they will know more or less. Generally, it is depend on weather. If icy, windy or too cold the bridge will be closed.
