Le mie aspettative erano altre e quindi sono rimasto un po deluso da questo museo .Bello esteticamente,ben organizzato, personale gentile pensavo di trovare piú oggetti e molte piú informazioni di piú sugli ebrei di Monaco, l´audioguida é inclusa nel prezzo.Il costo d´entrata é di 6 € .Monaco é ricchissima di musei , alcuni straordinari e se si ha tanto tempo si puó anche fare visita a questo museo, sopratutto se si é molto interessanti alla tematica ....io ho visto altri musei ebraici in giro per l´europa e mi sono sembrati piú interessanti , come detto molto bella l´architettura.

Jüdisches Museum (Jewish Museum) in Munich is situated between the main synagogue Ohel Jakob and the Jewish Community Center. The museum was inaugurated in 2007, and it is designed as a freestanding cube with a transparent ground floor lobby. The two top floors house changing exhibitions, a learning center, and a library. The museum’s permanent exhibition is located on the lower level.
At the time of my visit, only the permanent exhibition was open, with an overview of Munich’s Jewish history, with a special focus on the Jewish religion, its annual festivals and rites of passage.
This is not a big museum, but it is so well organized, and it provides food for thought and discussion.

This is a small museum near Marienplatz and is worth a visit. Most Judaica in Munich was destroyed in WW II, but there are some original artifacts and other items of interest. There is a cafe and a gift shop and the museum is near other areas of inteerst.

Wir hatten schon länger vor, das Museum zu besuchen. Im Rahmen der langen Nacht der Museen haben wir es nun geschafft. Das Museum liegt in der Münchner Innenstadt gleich neben dem Stadtmuseum und ist gut zu erreichen. Das Kuseum selbst ist schön und auch im Aufbau anprechend, die Azsstellung "Stimmen" ist sehr gelungen. Wer mehr über die Geschichte jüdischen Lebens in München erfahren möchte kann hier einiges lernen.

The permanent exhibition offers insights into the Jewish experience in Munich. A special exhibition supplies fascinating information about the impact that the Heidi novels had in Palestine/Israel, and the way they were incorporated into the Hebrew experience.

This was my second visit to the museum and was just as interesting and educational as the first. It's a must see.

Flot bygning med fin café og butik, men indholdet er meget sparsomt udstillet i helt sorte rum med kun enkelte genstande. Spring det over: der er mange meget bedre jødiske museer fx i Berlin og København

There is little in the way of history about the Jewish community of Munich, past and present. Unlike other Jewish museums this one appears to shy away from telling the story of the holocaust and in particular the people of Munich’s role in that. It is not clear why. but one can only presume this is politically motivated.
The temporary exhibition ‘In the labyrinth of the times’ has few objects, for good reason, not many survived, but it really does not need 2 floors. The story why there is an absence of objects is important and requires more analysis.
That said, it is important that this institution is here at all and it needs to be supported.

Meget meget skuffende og kedeligt. Der var ingen gæster udover os, hvilket var forståeligt. Såfremt man ønsker at få mere afvide omkring Holocaust kan KZ lejren dachau anbefales.
