I love our universe and watching stars. The Planetarium is really modern and always a entertaining highlight for me and my kids.

Die Sternwarte ist in den Sommermonaten noch viel mehr. Sie gibt für Kinder im Sommer ein Extra-Zusatzprogramm. Es können Filme im großen Saal angeschaut werden, die an die Kuppel projeziert werden. Die Sternbilder werden erklärt und können auch angeschaut werden. Es ist sehr interessant

Where to go to entertain your godchildren?
We took them to a 3D-Show in the Sternwarte.
Wonderfull experience - less than an hour long.
Don't forget to take the lift to the top of the building - a very nice round-view.
And then go to The near-by "Schweinske" restaurant for a down-to-earth meal with excellent Schnitzels....

Sorry, FriendsHamburg, but you surely mean the PLANETARIUM HAMBURG. The Hamburger Sternwarte does not show 3D Shows, we observe the real sky :-) But it`s also a lovely place for visitors. www.sternwarte-hh.de

Guten Tag, an der Sternwarte gibt es kein Hotel. Vielleicht mögen Sie die nette Bewertung "umziehen" :-)

Der Umbau wurde wunderschön und hat sich bezahlt gemacht.Ich kann nur alle empfehlen, sich dieses Wunderwerk anzusehen.Auch die Gastronomie wurde erfolgreich dort intigriert.

I was there during an open day last year and everything was good explained.
There are several activities for adults and children as well.
I liked the small reproductions of our solar system with the Earth, Jupiter, Saturn and so on.
I would have given 5 points if this place were a little bit easier to reach by bus.

The Sternwarte is a great place to learn about stars and star observation. Many old and actual telescopes are shown and can be experienced. Further the historic Bibliothek is a extremely interesting and outstanding place also because of its architecture. This star observatory is a place you should visit in Hamburg.
