There are plans to modernise, bring it up to date, but I like it as it is.
Not as posh as P Banus, but still nice to stroll, throw bread to the fish, look at the boats, choose your food among a great variety of places.
And the Sunday market is a plus, always fun to see the stalls, see the people.

Przystań w Esteponie połozona jest blisko centrum miasta i ma trzecią co do wielkości pojemność w prowincji. Posiada 447 miejsc do cumowania dla jednostek do 35 m długości. Obiekt oferuje liczne usługi od prądu, wody i toalet po bezprzewodowy internet. W sąsiedztwie znajduje się kilka plaż. Po wschodniej stronie leży największa plaża Estepony, Playa de la Rada, a po stronie zachodniej mniejsza plaża Playa del Christo.

Stunning port, great restaurants and bars. Feels more Spanish than Duquesa down the road. It’s very clean and some great boat trips leave from here.

The Sunday Morning Market in the Bull Ring of Estepona is great! It's a Flea Market/Antiques/Boot Sale market from 9am to 2pm. No entrance fee and lots of bargains!

Small but charming, at the end of the promenade next to the Punta Doncella Lighthouse. It's a shame that it doesn't have boat ride services along the coast that are more affordable than private ones.

The port has a pleasant layout, possible to walk all around, also the fishermen area where nets are being restored and the fish auction is open en running, lovely characteristic and picturesque , fringed with lovely bars and restaurants , its an extension of the Senda Litoral, which is the famous coastal board walk. The whole promenade is various kilometers long and very pleasant to walk, it is in excellent condition for walkers, rollerbladers, cyclist and even wheelchairs. Fresh seafood at the harbour is in abundance. tapas, or afternoon coffee etc.. all day every day worth a visit.

Et commerces à droite, c'est l'inverse au retour. Quartier calme avec des immeubles plus anciens mais en rentrant vers le centre ville prenez la cale San Roque qui longe l'avenue Espana.

The first bar on the left as you enter the port has a very large selection of excellent tapas ands you can sit inside or outside with table service.

Un très jolie petit port de plaisance avec de beaux bateaux, de nombreux restaurants, des cafés, des bars et des glaciers.
Estepona est une très belle ville balnéaire de la Costa del Sol.

Yes indeed!
It is just outside the port, on the main road, going towards town. There are usually a couple of taxis there from about 7.30 in the morning.
If not, ring one of the se numbers, just say Taxi por favor, en el puerto

Hi. Are there any places near the port where you can buy fresh fish to cook?

The biggish supermarket the other side of the road from the port, go along the road leading off the clock roundabout that is parallel with the main road going out of town, is called SuperSol.
It has good fresh fish, BUT only in the summer months. Sat mid june to mid September.
