Air conditioned, clean, modern shopping mall. Good range of shops including Primark, Lefties with Carrefour as the anchor.
Plenty of places to sit for the non-shoppers including comfy armchairs. Spotted charging stations. Toilets were clean but they are kind of hidden.
Good range of restaurants in the top floor with wonderful views of La Cantera beach. For simple tastes ( like mine), I grabbed a bocadillo( 4 euro) from Carrefour to join the family on this level.

Located at a walking distance from Las Canteras Beach, the shopping center is at an easy access with typical chain stores. As the sales had just started, the center was very crowded.

A nice walk along promenade from Santa Catalina by the sea takes you to this shopping centre.
Most shops you would see in any High St in UK. It even has a large PRIMARK for throw away holiday attire.

Mooi groot winkel centrum met veel plekken waar je even kan eten. Veel winkels en genoeg te doen. Veel winkels die we kennen zoals in nederland.

En su día tuvo que estar bien, ahora se le notan los años. No esta bien señalizado. Fuimos por la noche a tomar algo a la terraza y la música se mezclaba de un bar a otro haciendo la experiencia desagradable. Además a la hora de salir muchas puertas estaban cerrdas y no había ninguna indicación

Now this is a proper shopping mall, far better than any other we have visited in Gran Canaria.
Only popped in to visit Carrafour, & ended up visiting too many shops.
Only complaint is the the signs are not very good & we ended up following many dead ends before finding the toilets.

Perfekt senter etter en dag på stranda. Det ligger i enden av Gran Canarias største strand i Las Palmas og er GC største kjøpesenter. Godt med parkering, mange spiseplasser i øverste etasje. Anbefales

Dear Trish,
Thank you very much for contacting us.
Your trip to our Shopping Mall will take you around 1 hour. We can recommend you different options:
- Bus: Departing from the Airport, Lines 1,60,90 or 91 ( Global Bus ) to Santa Catalina or San Telmo Bus Station. Then from Santa Catalina lines 47 or 45 or from San Telmo line 17 ( Guaguas Municipales - yellow bus ).
- Bus/Taxi: Lines 1,60,90 or 91 and then Taxi from one of the station mentioned above.
- Taxi.
- Rent a car.

Hola, qué guaguas hay que coger para llegar al centro comercial Las Arenas desde el aeropuerto? Gracias

Muchas gracias por contactarnos.
Existen varias opciones desde el aeropuerto, pero todas ellas con transbordo:
- Guaguas Global línea 91 ( Aeropuerto LPA express ) con parada en las Alcaravaneras y posteriormente Guaguas Municipales línea 17 ( desde el Club Náutico ).
- Otras opciones serían con Guaguas Global desde el aeropuerto ( Líneas 1,60,90, 91,...) y dirigirte a Parque de Santa Catalina o estación San Telmo en Las Palmas de GC. En el caso de Parque Santa Catalina tendrías las opciones de las líneas 47 y 45, por otra lado desde San Telmo la línea 17.

Para hacer este trayecto, tendrías que realizar un transbordo Desde el Hospital Materno Infantil hasta Alicante (Colegio Islas Canarias ) y después podrías coger las Línea 17 ( Avenida Marítima ) o Línea 45 ( Intercambiador Santa Catalina ).

How far away is this place from Puerto Rico? And would a taxi be expensive?

Thank you for contacting us.
We are about 40-45min by car from Puerto Rico. We are located in the North of the island, next to Las Canteras beach.
We would not recommend you a Taxi as it would be extremely expensive. The best way to reach us, it would be by Bus. BUS 91 ( Bus company: Guaguas GLOBAL ) will take you from Puerto Rico directly to Las Palmas city ( San Telmo station ). From there you should take line 17 ( Bus company: Guaguas Municipales ) or a taxi to C.C. Las Arenas.

Está permitido entrar con mascotas en el Centro Comercial si éstas son llevadas en brazos o en un bolso de transporte para animales.
