Great learning experience. I visited the finishing and sales shop in early November. It is in a beautiful building not far from the main Toledo shopping district. Unlike most of the swords you see in the shopping district, Zamorano Swords are handmade and beautiful.
I purchased an El Cid Colada replica. It, along with a few knives were shipped to our home in Charlotte, NC. Shipping cost around $100. It arrives in about 4 weeks.

Año 2022 y en el mismo Toledo, tenemos esta joya oculta, el relevo que han tomado tanto Santiago como Javier de este taller artesano con más de 70 años a sus espaldas es realmente impresionante. Fieles a una tradición poco valorada, con un esfuerzo y pasión que no se ven a primera vista. Tienen replicas de acero al carbono hechas completamente a mano que son autenticas obras de arte.

Excellent place to see renown Toledo swords being made. Santi, the owner was very helpful, explained the different metals used in the swords/knives and their strengths. I visited the store in between breaks from my planned group tour of Toledo. Note that the store closes for a couple of hours in the early afternoon before reopening in mid afternoon. Helpful to keep in mind if you are only in Toledo for a day-trip or group tour. Would highly recommend!

Thank you very much for your review! We always try to ensure that our friend who comes to see us and wants one of our swords or knives is convinced of the quality of what he has bought with us. And yes, we close for a couple of hours to eat, family life rules.

Wonderful to deal with, I am in Canada a bought a sword for my sons grade 8 graduation. My questions were answered quickly and efficiently via email.
We had on issue when the sword arrived, it looked like customs had taken it apart to examine it and in the process wrecked it. Again with great communication and emailing back and forth we were able to come to a great resolution for both sides.
The service here is second to non and I would recommended buying a swords form them.

One year after... we´ll answer you. Sorry, but we write here becasue we´re back in the old city and we recover all our good habits... Thanks for your review. Ifwe send you a sword, is becasue we are sure we can make it and we´ll help you if there is any problem.

La tienda es pequeñita, al llegar nos atendio fenomenal explicandonos todo lo que preguntabamos. Hay espadas de todo tipo y precios. Yo como no me queria gastar mucho, me compre una daga por 194 euros, ya una espada me parecia mucho dinero en mi caso, pero es un trabajo artesano que hacen alli mismo y seguro que lo vale. Pudimos ver el taller y como trabajaba, y eso, no vimos ninguna otra tienda donde se pudiera. Es de los pocos artesanos en el oficio que quedan en toledo, y ademas la atencion perfecta. Totalmente recomendable.

We didn't get to see swords being made because we were there on a Sunday but this place was so fun to visit.

I was in Spain on a family trip 2 years ago. I heard about this place from Rick Steves. It took a while to find the place (racing up and down street in July), However, what an awesome place. I spent about an hour looking at knives and picked one out. I got home and wanted another one. I emailed the gentleman, send a picture of the knife I had purchased. They said no problem, within about a month. I received word that it was on its way. The knife is an all most exact copy of the one I purchased. By far the sharpest and well made knifes, I have had. If you like a fantastic knife and a story to tell your children...visit this store. The fact that people
still take pride in the work they do and make it in Toledo, what an experience.

Hi,
My mum and I visited from New Zealand to Spain last year. She always had a calendar photo of Toledo on her wall :)
We decided to visit Mariano Zamorano after reading in a travel guide.
It was stinking hot in July and he just kindly invited us in to show the traditional way their family had crafted their swords and other metal weapons.
What was awesome was that I purchased a nifty pocket knife home for dad who had already heard of Mariano and was so impressed!
Highly recommended and thanks for a great afternoon.

トレド名物のサーベルやナイフを扱うお店です。柄の部分を含めてトータルの部分を楽しめました。公共交通機関に持ち込めないのが残念です。

Nous avons découvert cet artisan dans un bout de rue, assez tard le soir. Nous avons pu acheter un couteau de sa fabrication et même visiter son atelier. Belle rencontre

We hope to answer you on time: Yes, we do. We think the service of Sparber is probably the best in Spain in security, with an insurance: you have your box or refund the payment. However they don´t give you tracking number, you must hope to FedEx when the box is in your country. Thanks.

I purchased a chef knife there first time i used it It broke. Very disappointed. I had it never used it until now. Lasted 2 days of normal use.

Por política de TripAdvisor no podemos incluir la dirección web, pero si busca nuestro nombre en un buscador puede encontrarla fácilmente. Allí podrá ver que, efectivamente, tenemos espadas de personajes históricas, pero no de personajes de película.
Con respecto al viaje a Colombia, nosotros no tenemos problemas para enviarlas allá, pero le aconsejo que pregunte en la Administración de su país, o la embajada en España,...

We usually open the Sundays in the morning, without production, but the September 18 will probably close. So, our timetable for the Monday 19 is 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-19:00.
