Anyone can buy a few bottles and organise a tasting, but when an expert like Sharon picks interesting wines from her favourite vineyards and shares them with you, the enthusiasm is infectious. Full of information about the most important Spanish and Catalan wine regions, but never dull, Sharon guided us on a journey through the history and culture of wine-making in a country that has a lot more to offer than can be found in the average supermarket. The wines were splendid, the atmosphere was relaxed and the whole evening was a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

Sharon´s vibrancy and passion for Spanish wines is contagious! As well as being informative about the processing and cultivation of grapes, she completes her narrative with quirky stories and personalities, making all the information so accessible, no matter what your existing wine knowledge may be, Her private venue right in the centre of Barcelona´s old town is a perfect setting - intimate and overflowing with wine paraphanelia yet conveniently located to allow one to spill out into the hustle and bustle of the Born district... and search for a wine bar of course!

There's so much more to Spain's famous wines than you might realise and Sharon is an extremely knowledgable and graceful guide.
We drank many excellent and, more to the point, interesting wines from Catalonia and beyond. I loved hearing stories about the people behind each bottle and discovering new flavours.
If you want to learn a bit about Spanish wines and/or get a grasp of wine tasting in general, this really is an EXCELLENT option.
