図書館は一般の来訪者でも受付で申し出をすれば、入場が可能です。図書館の建物には外部から入場できる入口はなく、近くの入口から地下に降りてアクセスする仕組みです。場所が分からなければ、その辺を歩いている学生に、図書館の入口はどこにありますか？と聞いてみれば、教えてくれるでしょう。この図書館は元貯水庫のため、レンガ造りで非常に天井の高く、独特の美しさがあります。当然ながら学生の皆さんが勉強をしているので、写真撮影やその音には注意が必要です。
最寄り駅は地下鉄のCitaudella Vila Olimpiaもしくは、トラムだとさらに近くてWellingtonだと下車すぐです。

Como parte de mi máster on línea, me tocó recibir clases presenciales en Barcelona en el campus de la UPF de Balmes, profesores de primer nivel, excelentes instalaciones, pero lo realmente bello, es si biblioteca en el campus del mar, digno de visitar.

Estudo na UPF e me encanto com os campus da universidade. Existem vários ao redor da cidade, estudo no Poblenou, onde tem um museu em anexo e um lindo jardim. Além da construção moderna.
O campus de la Ciutadella, possui uma biblioteca maravilhosa toda de tijolinhos e um pé direito alto, lembra o filme harry potter.

This university managed to present me with a narrow-minded blind arrogance of Catalan ethnocentrism. Let alone the staff members always put a poker face as if you owe them one million euros. Regarding the academic spirit of this university, it is more than ridiculous. A typical example is what happened in my thesis defense, in which my thesis (composed in English) was being judged by a catalan professor who did not speak English at all.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?
The courses I enrolled in were 100% lectured in English as announced by the uni, yet in the final defense you sent a Catalan who did not know English to judge my effort and my work and my contribution?
WHERE IS YOUR CONSCIENCE?
Furthermore, in my study there were two groups being compared-- Turkish and Chinese students with B2 level of Spanish and English. However, during my defense, this catalan woman said in Spanish that even if when both the Chinese and Turkish student groups have the same level of B2, Chinese students still perform worse than Turkish students.
REALLY I WAS SHOCKED.
I am not sure whether I am being over-sensitive, but still I sense that her statement is tinted with racial discrimination. Meanwhile, I am not sure from what database she managed to render such a conclusion. If there is one, please do share with me.
Second, this catalan woman disapproved of my "lengthy" reference list. But if my memory does serve me well, the standards in the TFM do require students to faithfully reflect their literature references in the work. Although she stated that it was impossible for me to read that much, thus again I am confused: Is reading "too much" a mistake for those who strive in academic field? Is faithfully reflecting the literature review also a mistake? And on what basis was she certain that i was "not possible to read that much" ?
Plus, when announcing my grade, she simply walked out and told my grade while refusing to let me enter into the classroom. Thus I really have no idea what I have done to be treated so differently.
Also, I am aware of the fact that she is unable to pronounce my Chinese name, but it was not necessary for her to show such contempt on her facial expression.

龐培法布拉大位於巴塞隆納的哥倫布大道上，是一棟很棒的建築。附近還有相當多當地的景點如巴塞隆納港及海上蘭不拉等。

The worst educational institution I have ever seen in my entire life. In terms of actual education, the university is a joke. Everyone gets accepted. The administration is rude and horrendous. No one wants to help you. No one wants to do anything. OMA (international office) is never open. Professors come late, or sometimes don't even show up to class. You have to chase professors and university administration for something as basic as a course syllabus. A good amount of antisemitism among the professors, as well as racism, and pro-Catalonia independence propaganda is everywhere. Even if you are an exchange student, and don't know a word of Catalan, all communication is done in Catalan, without the option of changing it to Spanish or English. Do yourself, and your education a favour, and skip out on this university.

Die University of Pompeu Fabre steht im südlichen Teil der Innenstadt von Barcelona auf dem Plaza de La Merce in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Yachthafen. Trotz seiner Nähe zu einem der touristischen Zentren der Stadt war es hier während unseres Aufenthalts angenehm ruhig und friedlich.
Seit 1990 wird das Gebäude durch die Verwaltung der Universität genutzt. Es ist nett anzuschauen und macht mit seinem Charme und der daneben stehenden Basilica einen Teil des Reizes aus, den der Platz versprüht.
Fazit: Nett, aber mehr auch nicht.

На площади Мерсе, справа от базилики де-ла-Мерсе мы увидели интересное здание в неоклассическом стиле, оказалось университет Помпеу Фабра. Университет основан в 1990 году и назван в честь каталонского лингвиста Пумпеу Фабра-и-Пок, который повлиял на развитие современного каталонского языка. В университете обучаются студенты со всего мира, обучение не дешевое.

Красивое здание, но без изюминки. Сейчас в нем расположен ректорат UPF (Universitat Pompeu Fabra). На площади, кроме знаменитой базилики, еще можно полюбоваться фонтаном Нептуна, который уже третий раз меняет свое месторасположение в городе.
