‪We met some women asking for signatures to support the disabled at Phillip IV statue asking for IDs. I was surprised that 2 of them were touching my wallet.
Please ry to have better enforcement so tourists feel safe in the city, thank you‬

‪Ci siamo trovati bene ed è stata una esperienza interessante e ben organizzata. Il ritrovo dei partecipanti è in pieno centro e da li abbiamo visitato le principali attrazioni passeggiando per le calli più nascoste ed ascoltando la guida che con molte professionalità si fermava ad illustrarci particolari nascosti dei palazzi e delle piazze. Prezzo veramente più che equo per una visita di una ora e meza. Ricordo con piacere l'escursione ed allego qualche foto ricordo‬

‪Extremely pleasant experience ‬

‪We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience we had. The lady who helped us, Sara Jimeno was extremely helpful, pleasant and cultured. She gave us great tips on where to go at different times of the day and basically set a two day itinerary for us! You can also buy tickets to some attractions here and the staff speak multiple languages.‬

‪Ho contattato oggi l'ufficio del turismo di Madrid, che mi ha confermato che da alcuni anni non organizzano più tours in italiano della città.
Molto gentilmente mi hanno però proposto alcune agenzie locali in alternativa.‬

‪Helpful staff but not that accurate‬

‪We used this twice and on both occasions the assistant was extremely helpful and tried to 'sell' different tourist attractions about which we had not sought information. This could have been helpful to those who did not know what they wanted to do but for us it was time wasted.
Unfortunately on both occasions whilst the assistant looked up the information on their computer and wrote it down for us, it transpired it was wrong. One did not make too much difference but the second meant we wasted over 2 hours and could not visit the required location, a palace on the outskirts of the city.
We wanted to travel by bus on a Sunday and the assistant supposedly looked up the Sunday times, even mentioning that they were less frequent than on week days. The start location was in Argueles and the bus stop well signed. There was another (Eastern European) couple who joined us also wanting to go to the palace. The first departure time came and went, with the next an hour later. That came and went at which point the other couple left. We waited for the next stated departure, 30 mins later, but still no sign of a bus. We also gave up.
Subsequently a local said there was no Sunday bus service to the palace, so goodness knows where the tourism people got their bus times from.‬

‪sold madrid card for a day when Museums are free!‬

‪Generally, we found the staff at the counter friendly and helpful especially when we wanted to go to the Valley of the Fallen on public transport without realising what a long and steep walk we would have from the site entrance. However we were rather disappointed when we discovered that the staff selling us 3 day Madrid cards starting on Friday, didn't tell us that the payment for the 3rd day was a waste as most museums and some other attractions are free on a Sunday!‬
