I loved the photo-tour with Louis Alarcon in the area Arts and science Valencia. Het knows a lot about photography and composition. That is what I hoped for when I booked the tour! The really good thing about this tour is that Louis is a great teacher and doesn't mind explaining over and over. That combined with his passion for photography made the tour an amazing event. I learned a lot about composition with other viewing points than normally expected. Thanks Louis, when I am in that area again I will certainly book another tour with you.

I booked Louis for a special tour around the science park, Valencia. I enjoyed this tour not only because I learned a lot, but also because Louis managed to explain to my level of photographie knowledge, he was very patient and he knew exactly where to find the best spots. I will certainly ask for his time again when back in the region!

I did the workshop street photography in Valencia. It was my first time and Louis was my guide and teacher at the same time. No standaard pictures of the main tourist attractions. Instead, he gave me a more 'pure' impression of the city and the locals. Louis helped me to work faster, since I'm often too busy with the technical aspects of my camera and we focussed on portraits, composition and storytelling. Louis is a very spontaneous person and he helped me to get into contact with the charming Valencian people.
The only drawback: three hours go by far too quickly. I hope to do another workshop with Louis one day!

I took two tours with Luis last week and they were great. The first tour was so good that I booked a second tour. Luis was very patient. He gave me some really great tips, with regards to what steps I need to take if I wish to move my photography up a level.
I would strongly recommend Luis's tours and as an added bonus he spoke spanish with me even though his english is much better than my spanish

Thank you very much for your kind comment. I'm glad you also booked the second photo tour in Valencia, so we could go deeper and automate some processes such as focusing with a different button than the shutter button. As you could see Valencia is an amusement park for photographers :-) Thanks for being such a sociable traveler. It was very nice working with you.

Que puedo decir? Hacer este tour con Luis ha sido una experiencia maravillosa, te ayuda a mirar con otros ojos, a ver donde otros no ven. De lo mejor que he hecho últimamente.

I had two sessions covering street photography, night and minimalism with Luis during November 2021. We had discussion around my learning needs and what I would have wanted to cover. However, he covered much more and answered all my questions. He also looked at my Instagram and worked on my weak points. Luis is passionate, patient and professional. His knowledge is amazing and his attitude to teaching is brilliant. If I go again to Spain, I definitely would have more sessions with him. He also has other programme which I would book them in the future.

You are very kind with your comment about my photo classes and photography tours in Valencia, thank you very much for it.
It's true that we could have spent much more time taking pictures and chatting about possibilities both in composition, camera handling, use of light etc.
I'm glad you had a good time with me and that you came back home with good photos. Today I will send you by mail that configuration you needed to see the photo with a 100% zoom by pressing a single button.

Hace 3 años estuve con Louis en Cuba haciendo un tour y nos descubrió sitios que nunca me esperaría. He repetido en Valencia y la experiencia fue inesperada, divertida y me llevé a casa algunas de las mejores fotos que he sacado en los últimos años.

Gracias Pedro por tu amable comentario, ya pudiste ver que cada pais tiene sus pros y sus contras en lo que se refiere a fotografía principalmente de calle y documental. Cuba es el paraiso y en Valencia hizo falta ser más reflexivo en ocasiones y otras veces más audaz, así es la fotografía , un arte que no deja que te duermas.
