We had a wonderful and informative tour of Pompeii with Luca. He is an experienced archeologist and a very fun guide. He showed us things that we would never have identified without him. Thanks Luca and Mondo Guide

My family of 8 adults booked this tour. We enjoyed our guide, Mafalda, so much. She has a beautiful Italian accent while still being easy to understand her English. We went to Positano, Sorrento, and Pompeii tour all this her. The tour was incredible all around and I very much enjoyed the info Mafalda shared with us during the Pompeii portion. She also shared with us many great details in the bus during our stunning drive. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Our small group used Mondo Guide for a private tour of the Amalfi Coast and for transportation from our hotel in Sorento to the Rome Airport. In all cases our driver was very punctual, professional and courteous.

Thank you again for making the arrangements for our trip to Napoli and Pompeii. We enjoyed our day very much. Both Andrea (our private guide) and Patrizio (our driver) were a pleasure to interact with. Andrea was very knowledgeable of the subject matter and accommodated our request to visit the Pio Monte della Misericordia Church to view the Caravaggio painting there and go by the Teatro San Carlo. Both of them were very courteous and professional.

Mondo guides small group tour of Pompeii led by Carolina was fantastic! In 2 hours our excellent guide led us through the highlights of beautiful Pompeii. Carolina gave us the historical facts in a clear well spoken manner with some humour and anecdotes. The pace was realistic, with time allowed for photos. The meeting place was super easy to find and steps from the train or bus stops. Great price made for a good value!

Carolina leads a fun and informative Mondo walking tour of Pompeii. We used the Campania Arte card three day pass to enter, very easy hassle-free to use for cultural sites and transportation.

Barbara met us promptly at 11.00am outside the Hotel Suisse with a sign saying "Mondo Guides." She then helped our party of four through the entrance to the site so that we did not have to stand in line. She was warm, funny, very informative and interesting, and kind and patient with our kids (aged 12 and 8 ). She helped find shady places to take a break and answered all our questions. Pompeii is a huge site, so it's important to have someone knowledgeable to help you make the most of your time there. I would definitely recommend Barbara to other visitors.

Our driver Carlo was great. He provided the right amount of information on the sights along the drive to Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii.
Group size was just right. Would highly recommend this small group tour.

Our group was about 15 and honestly it wasn’t too bad..this tour was included with a bus tour from Rome and was pretty pricey.

Please recommend me a day tour that does amalfi coast positano and pompeii. Can the tour brings me to sorrento too.

Mondo offers a great bus tour to Positano down the coast, and we had a wonderful Pompeii tour of four hours with a personal guide, who was an archeologist. Both basically take a day, are economically priced, and delightful. We were staying in Sorrento, and we were able to easily walk to the meeting point to embark. Mondo does a great job, first class all the way.

Each tour is priced separately. All are per person, and are reasonable. In one case, our group of four paid for six, to insure the minimum required, and still felt we got a good value. Either the website or a call to the Mondo Tours office will get you the specific pricing you need.

We would like information on joining a shared tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum on Oct. 6, 2017. What is the cost and how do we make a reservation for this tour? Go to mondo guide website and they are Rick Steve's associated tours. Loved the one at Pompeii and very reasonable . About 20 euros per person and lasted 3 hrs . Well worth it

My husband and I don't hear as well as we used to. Can anyone tell me if the Mondo Shared tours of Pompei rely on our hearing the guide naturally or if the participants wear a head set and the guide speaks through a microphone, etc. That works very well for us, but if there aren't headsets, I'm afraid we will spend all our time rushing past the sites and other tour members, trying to stay close enough to the guide so we can hear what he is saying. The group can be as large as 16, so that would be difficult.

Hello,
There are no listening devices available with Mondo as far as I know. But you might ask them directly. My husband wears hearing aids in both ears and was able to hear very well. It was not difficult to keep up with the group - mostly were middle-aged people. Hope that helps!

You need to go to sharedtours. This is the website that has the tours that they do. Explore the website and you should be able to find what you want, just click on Pompeii. Enjoy it is a great tour
