Roberta was an amazing guide and kept our 9 and 11 year old kids engaged for the entire tour. Her knowledge and passion for Pompeii was apparent throughout the tour. Highly recommended.

Great experience for our family, we had a personal guide who was very engaging and informative. I am sorry to say I cannot remember her name. She spoke excellent English and really engaged with our two children (ages 10 and 12). I highly recommend going with a guide, they can bring you back to the time when Pompeii was quite the city.

Rosana is amazing! She was very engaging for our 2 elementary school aged children (and of course us adults too). we all learned a lot and had so much fun. It was a highlight of our trip.

Great experience - communication was good. They arranged a car transfer from our hotel in Sorrento. Our tour guide Lelo was the best tour guide we’ve ever had anywhere, our son was enthralled. He was funny and informative and entertaining, great at connecting with a child. The actual tour lasted about two hours, which is plenty. If there’s a way to request Lelo I would try. Our driver was Paulo and he was a gem too. Thank you!

Glad we decided to pick this tour, our guide was warm and welcoming. It was just my family and we had an 8 and 3 year old. We all enjoyed the the tour and the interactive parts the guide showed really brought the place to life! Highly recommended!

Booking was incredibly responsive, and made changes even at the last minute. Ilaria was excellent and super flexible even with an itinerary that changed at the last minute. The tour was wonderful! Roberta was so patient and kept my seven and nine year old riveted. She knew how to change up the pace, keep them engaged, while being able to answer the most random questions.
I highly recommend!

Highly recommend spending the extra money if you have kids under 12. Guide was interactive, intelligent and informative. Great for the whole family.

Our kids were absolutely hanging off every word! Roberta is a wonderful guide - she hits the exact right note with the kids so that they could follow the information and have fun at the same time. Our kids are 6 and 4, and we worried that they would struggle to pay attention for so long, but they could have followed Roberta all day very happily! We highly recommend this tour to everyone with kids!

My family was very excited for this tour, especially our 5 year old daughter who had recently read the Jack and Annie Magic Treehouse book about Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. The private kids tours did not disappoint - we were picked up from our hotel in Naples by a wonderful friendly driver and driven directly to the site. Our guide was fantastic, she was actively engaged with our daughter and us, explaining and telling great stories as we walked through ancient Pompeii. We were pretty much the first people that got onto the site because we did not have to wait in the line. It also wasn't very crowded for the first hour we were there, which made for some great photos. The tour was the best site tour we did on our trip to Italy (Rome and Naples) - its amazing to see how well preserved the 2,000 year old city still is - you could vividly imagine what life was like and see all of the frescos painted in the houses. The findings (pots, pans, urns) were so amazing too - in pristine condition for its age. And they are still excavating the site, which was just impressive. The tour lasted 2.5 hours and it went by pretty quickly. Our driver then took us straight back to our hotel. In short, if you have kids (or even if you don't!), we highly recommend the private kids tour of Pompeii. It was excellent!!!

We went with a 6-almost-7 year old and a 10 year old. The tour was great for both of them and they enjoyed playing with the other kids. Roberta was amazing, so warm and friendly and brought all the kids together. The kids both agree it was really great to have a tour at Pompeii to get oriented and then explore on our own afterward.
