We’ve never experienced a vacation planned for us as Giulia at DragonFly did. The attention to detail and the planning of each exact step along the way was a truly unique experience. From the cars showing up at our doorstep 10 minutes early to the walking guides greeting us with a smiling face, the trip was exceptional. We felt blessed all the unique experiences she booked for us from the cheesemonging, the pizza cooking and the vinegar sipping, we experienced Italy in a way we will always remember.
Oh year, here’s how much work we put into this, “Giulia, we are in Italy from this date to that date, please let us know what to do.” In 2 days, we had a 9 day crafted itinerary which is truly the standard for all future family trips.

Simonetta from Dragonfly tours arranged an amazing 2 1/2 week tour of the Amalfi coast. The tour guides we had were wonderful - so knowledgeable as well as very personable. There were just the right amount of booked activities and free time. The hotels were really good - our favourite being the Hotel Covo dei Saracini in Positano. The rooftop pool area and lounge were a welcome relief from the crowds of Positano. The restaurant was terrific and all of the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room had a double balcony overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the boat trip around the Sorento peninsula and the pizza making trip was unforgettable. Francesca emailed us her cookbook and we have been trying various dishes. We also made some limoncello which will be ready to taste in a few days. In Minori, we walked the Path of Lemons from Minori to Maori - 500 steps up and 500 steps down. We bought some ceramics from a ceramicist in Minori, Vittorio Ruocco, Ceramiche D'Arte. He apparently has made ceramics for the Pope. Lastly, we had a wonderful driver for the majority of our trips. Enzo was so friendly and knowledgeable and he felt like family by the end of the trip. It was a truly unforgettable holiday.

Great tour agency that knows what they are doing and how to do it. Spend a little time with them to let you know what you want to do and see on your Italian journey and you won’t be disappointed!

Again Cristina from Dragonfly tours put together another great trip for us for our return to Florence. Hotel Laurus was the perfect location with only being one and a half blocks from the Duomo. The amenities at the hotel were perfect. Our tours were just what we wanted. Our drivers were very accommodating and very sympathetic to my walking issues. Have been to Italy many, many times. We wanted some new tours and we repeated some. Highly recommend Cristina from Dragonfly tours. You tell her what you are looking to do and she will make suggestions. Another memorable trip in the books.

Dragonfly found us the experience gems that make a vacation exciting. Our northern Italy trip was certainly made exponentially better. Their guides were knowledgeable, fun and personable and our contact Luigi was able to make adjustments and changes as circumstances dictated. Everything worked like clockwork. We can’t recommend them enough.

Simonetta in Dragonfly Tours put together a fantastic package for us in September. Everything was superbly organised including transport, hotels, tours, guides, restaurant bookings etc.
This was our 2nd time booking with Dragonfly and such was our experience 1st time around, we had no hesitation in booking again with them. If you are looking for a carefree holiday with everything organised in the finest detail, then look no further, Dragonfly will deliver in spades!!

This was our second (and not last) experience with Dragonfly Tours. Because of our limited time, we need to maximize our time while on vacation and Dragonfly takes care of all the details. Priscilla was fantastic. She was professional, prompt, reliable and was available throughout our trip to answer questions. We had a seamless experience and are already looking forward to our next trip! You won’t be disappointed!

We booked our 2 week Honeymoon through Italy with Dragonfly after finding their package to be the be the most competitive and complete via our Zicasso comparison.
Our trip included Rome, Sorrento (with stops in Pompeii, Capri, Amalfi and Ravello), Florence and Venice. Our travel agent, Guilia, was responsive and helpful during the planning phase - she was responsive to our questions and made changes based on our feedback.
The trip itself was amazing and incredibly smooth. The pick ups at the airport and train stations took all of the drama out of logistics. Our personal tour guides at each location were on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. Guilia was also responsive during our time on the trip, with communication via Whatsapp. She even was able to move around our planned trip to Capri because of the inclement weather anticipated for our original date.
Overall Dragonfly is highly recommended.

We booked our Italy trip with Dragonfly tours after a recommendation from a colleague of mine. We were very happy with their service and recommendations. Priscilla was helpful booking our itinerary and helping coordinate our travel/activities during our trip as well.

Had an incredible vacation planned and organized by Dragonfly Tours Italy. Our original vacation was scheduled for two years ago and needed to be re-scheduled due to COVID. Dragonfly was extremely flexible in allowing me to apply my deposit to this trip.
Our 10 day vacation included stops in Florence, Siena, the Amalfi Coast, Pompei and Rome with all tours and transportation handled by Dragonfly. Our vacation had absolutely no issues at all. Each of the tour guides were top-notch, and very informative. The drivers each and every time arrived on time and provided information along the way and great recommendations.
Major thanks to Priscilla Mazzoni, our vacation organizer, for all of her suggestions and patience. She was incredible to work with and my family and I are deeply grateful for her guidance and advice with our vacation. Italy was truly a trip of a lifetime!
Do not hesitate for one moment about using Dragonfly Tours.

We were planning your trip before Covid, and we are very enthusiast it was worth the wait. It was a long wait unfortunately, but what matters is that you and your family had a great time in Italy. We are also very happy that even if we went through a pandemic, we managed to have our providers still work with us and give their best to our clients. If you shall want to travel to Italy again, we can’t wait to organize another trip for you!

What hotel did you stay at in Tuscany? And were there any attractions or restaurants or experiences that stood out there? We are using Dragonfly as well.

While we were in Tuscany, we stayed at Lu Paia. This was by far our favorite place. The views are breathtaking. The food was amazing. My parents jumped on our tour later, so Dragonfly got them on in a town nearby called Montepulciano. This was a really nice place. Very small and quiet town. We really enjoyed touring The town of Assisi. We saw The Basilica of San Francesco then ate at this really cool restaurant that was once an ancient Roman home. You can still see the original settlement thru glass “floors.” I do not know the name of this place. Dragonfly sets it all up. We absolutely love Dragon Fly Tours!!
Can you send details of Rome and Venice combined with flights included preferably flying out of Leeds Bradford late July two adults roughly a week to ten days

I'm the travel agent looking for a reliable tour company for a family of 4 (never been to Italy) and their children are ages 6 and 10 - both boys. So 10 day tour has to accommodate the children in some ways - like hotels with swimming pools and they would all stay in 1 family room. The itinerary is simple - Rome, Florence, Venice and a few days in Sorrento or nearby on a beach. They could do car or train or combination of both. Mid-July is their time to travel. Use 3* hotels - but nice ones.

Hello, I would like to know how legitimate this company Dragonfly Tours is before I book a tour with this company.
To the best of my knowledge they are not a member of any Tourist Association that we can contact for a referral.
How has others who have used this tour company satisfied themselves that this is a reputable company?
