‪A memorable italian experience with Marco‬

‪My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful day with Marco! He did an incredible job guiding us through our Italian adventure. Marco's storytelling on the way to the market added a delightful layer of richness to our experience, and he gave us some time to explore the fresh Italian ingredients. We truly loved every moment of this day, and without a doubt, we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience. Grazie mille, Marco!‬

‪Tasmanians in Rome‬

‪Marco is absolute gold!!
He was engaging from the moment we arrived, friendly, funny, welcoming and professional. Our walk to the market was great, with interesting local information and also an amazing market full of incredible fresh produce. Returned to the “kitchen” and Marco showed his magic! We had the best time making pasta, chatting, laughing, drinking wine (only one glass of course)! Marco was attentive to everyone, patient and has such a generous and warm nature. 10/10 or 5/5, an absolute highlight of our 12 week Europe trip. Marco, “mate” you are THE BEST!! Thankyou so much!!‬

‪Wonderful experience with an amazing teacher!‬

‪This was an amazing few hours spent with our wonderful, funny and simply great teacher Marco. We got to walk around a bit to go to the market. Then we learned how to make a variety of pasta. Marco walked us through every step and made sure we were following along with humour and enthusiasm. The sauces he made were delicious and the wines he served were great as well. We got a great group too so it made my friends and I's first day in Rome memorable in the best way! His recommendations were also great! I totally recommend to this experience to anyone who wants a fun activity to do with friends and/or family!‬

‪Awesome experience!‬

‪Marco our guide and chef was terrific. Our experience from going to the market to making the food was fun, interactive and informative. He gave us history and context of the food, making the day very enjoyable. My husband and I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.‬

‪Fantastic!‬

‪I had such a good time doing this! I signed up for it the day before when I saw it advertised in the hostel, and was able to get the last space left for that day. Didn't really know what to expect but I left feeling like I had a really fun experience, getting to meet some very nice people in the class and also learning something new at the same time. Marco was brilliant, made an effort to get to know everyone and make sure we all knew what to do and helped if we had any difficulties. He also had us laughing away and gave some tips for things to do and see during our visit in Rome. Definitely glad I decided to do this as it was so much fun, and the dishes we had at the end were so delicious! I feel inspired now and will definitely be using what I've learned to try and make my own pasta again back home in Scotland!‬

‪Don’t consider this class.‬

‪This was absolutely the worst experience we have had in Italy. If I could give a negative score I would. We started at 11:30 am and we didn’t eat until 4 pm. It was supposed to be a 4 hour hands on experience but it took over 5 hours. We were starving. It wasn’t hands on teaching at all and Marco was a bully, singled us out from the group, and made us feel like we didn’t deserve to be there. The market was a waste of time. We were told to just wait for Marco to finish shopping for 5 “Roman” minutes, the whole thing took an hour. Half the vendors were closed and it would have been nice to have a task or a purpose or even a tour when we arrived but we were left to our own devices. When we got to the kitchen Marco demonstrated how to create pasta without any patience or consideration. This was my first time making pasta and he made me feel like an idiot. At one point he took my pasta and threw it out. I began to tear up and he made fun of me.. The whole experience was about being in the moment and learning how to make pasta in Italy but it was very anxiety provoking and stressful. This was on my bucket list and I am utterly disappointed and upset. Would not recommend to anyone. ‬

‪Delicious and invaluable experience!‬

‪Absolutely amazing! We only had two days in Rome so we wanted to make the most of it and we figured we couldn’t go wrong with learning how to make pasta from scratch. The tips and hands on experience and guidance Marco provides is something you just can’t get any other way. He even took us to the market down the street to pick out our ingredients (and got some snacks to have while cooking). The wine he served was amazing too! This was the highlight of our time in Rome, you will not regret booking this class!‬

‪Eramos un grupo de 4 personas. Mi padre, mi hermana y mi novio la experiencia es increible sobretodo por el profesor Marco. No es solo un excelente cocinero si no un historiador y un gran conocedor de la cultura italiana que nos transporto a la verdadera Roma.

Nos encanto toda la experiencia, desde ir al mercado, hacer la pasta y disfrutar de su exisito sabor. Si quieres una verdadera experiencia de estar en Roma no dudes en reservar la clase‬

‪Mit einem waschechten Italiener kochen und genießen ‬

‪Marco leitet diesen Kochkurs ganz charmant, mit super vielen Zusatzinfos, geht auf jeden Teilnehmer ein und kocht abgesehen davon super leckere Pasta! Sehr zu empfehlen. Der Kurs ging fünf statt vier Stunden, was aber niemanden gestört hat. ‬
