Before I forget, thank you Emma! Emma was a great guide with a very pleasant personality. The tour was thoughtful, historical, and with side notes. Not overload. We were informed about what we were going to be doing and customes. I felt like I was getting insightful information about art & history, and from someone that felt like a friend. The tour ended, leaving me with a good introduction to the historical art and structures, and my thoughts continuing about the whole genre. And I'm still thinking about it. Thank you again Emma.

Outstanding tour. Our Guide Cinzia was superb - friendly, knowledgeable, unflagging. She really kept us engaged for the whole tour. Came out appreciating the Vatican so much more. Thanks so much!

John was an amazing tour guide!! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and attentive. I would highly recommend this tour and especially this tour guide!!

A wonderful experience from start to finish! Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with our small group tour. The experience was very positive all around.

Cinzia was a fantastic guide — clear, detailed and thoughtful in her explanations and management of the members in our semi-private group. I went with my mom (70 years old), and although English isn’t her first language, she was able to understand most of what Cinzia explained. Thank you for our tour! I’m returning with my family in the summer, and I hope to book Cinzia again!

Great tour. Elaine was a super tour guide, lots of energy and good communication. Highly recommend this tour. The vatican is huge so 3.5 hours barely touched it but the highlights were excellent.

Cinzia is a five star guide—knowledgeable, articulate, organized, and friendly. She efficiently packed as much into a tour of this massive and rich collection as humanly possible. The early morning entry is the best choice, and the tour gave us more of the museum from Apollo Belvedere to the length of the basilica than I anticipated. The Raphael rooms were a particular treasure. We were given clear instructions and plenty of restful time to soak in the wonder of the Sistine. Well done.

We thoroughly enjoyed our fantastic tour with Cinzia today.
Going early was definitely the right choice for us as it wasn’t as busy as later in the day. The tour took 3.5 hours and was thoroughly entertaining, we learnt a lot from Cinzia, who is very knowledgable about all the works of art in the museum and life in Vatican City. There is a lot of walking and standing so comfortable shoes and a bottle of water are advised. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

The Vatican can easily become an overwhelming experience, due to the sheer extent of the Vatican Museum collections and of course the crowds. It was incredibly worth it to have someone curating our experience and explaining select, significant pieces to us. Elaine is so funny, knowledgeable (she showed us incredible little secrets in the Museum), and a deft guide when in comes to managing the group and respectfully following the Vatican rules.

I know italy has dropped the green pass. Do you still require to see proof of vaccination or negative covid test?

Dear Suzette, from June 1st the Vatican does not require any green pass or equivalent certificate.

Hi! I already reserved "Semi Private Tour of the Vatican, Sistine chapel & St.Peter".... I know that some tours do not include St.Peter, so I want to know if my Spanish tour include the 3 things.... During checkout process the information for Spanish Tour was not able. Thanks

For families traveling with younger children, we always recommend choosing one of the shorter "best-of" itineraries. Another option would be to book a private tour so that the tour guide can tailor the pace and contents of the tour to make it fun and interesting for your children.
