‪La colección del museo es muy amplia y, evidentemente, muy valiosa a nivel científico.
Eso sí, este museo necesita una actualización para dejar de ser un simple depósito de muestras arqueológicas.
Una pena.‬

‪Tutti i musei di Italia sono chiusi il lunedì, (e già è vergognoso che la cultura si fermi un giorno) proprio per questo ieri ci siamo limitati alla visita di Bologna monumenti ma abbiamo deciso di fermarci una mattinata di martedì solo per vedere i musei e invece questo è l'unico museo d'Italia che chiude proprio questo giorno! Cambiate mestiere e andate a vendere la frutta! ‬

‪Why were we told to avoid this museum?‬

‪ At our hotel, we were suggested to ignore this museum. It wasn’t that good. TripAdvisor’s reviews were inconsistent. Some liked it Some didn’t. Some were impressed. Some weren’t. So we intended to skip it. However, the first day we were there, about 6PM or so, we passed by, almost missing it because the entrance was so nondescript. What caught our eye was the sign outside about a Pompeii exhibit. Hmm. Pompeii, huh. OK. We’ve gone to a few in the past and we have always liked them. Then as we are standing there a pair of women came out and told us we should go and see the museum and that the Pompeii exhibit was very good. We were convinced. Too late to go then as it was past closing time, but tomorrow is another story. So we went. Surprise, while not at the top of the pole, after all this is a fairly small city, it had a nice collection of Roman, Greek and Egyptian objects and it was much bigger than I was told. We enjoyed that part of our time there. What we enjoyed even more was the Pompeii exhibit. Much bigger and better than I had hoped. As we went through it I kept thinking it’s almost finished. No, it wasn’t. And when I got to the end, it was so good that I decided to go back to the beginning and see it again. I think I did that twice. When you do that, you blow your whole schedule for the day. Who cares? It was worth it. So what’s the verdict? The exhibit will be probably be gone, if it isn’t already. If it is gone, it’s good and if you have the time, come here. If you don’t have much time, you may decide to pass it up, particularly if you have seen other archaeological museums with similar collections. They are fairly interchangeable.‬

‪Il Museo Civico Archeologico, si trova in pieno centro storico, a due passi da Piazza Maggiore. E' uno tra i più prestigiosi musei della città ed ha sede nel Palazzo Galvani. Prezzo del biglietto euro 6. Ricchissime le collezioni all'interno.‬

‪Una. Otte al museo - così si sperava‬

‪Abbiamo deciso di visitare questo museo , approfittando dell'evento la notte dei musei . Abbiamo prenotato come da indicazioni qualche giorno prima e allora prestabilita ci siamo presentati. Al botteghino non trovavano la nostra prenotazione e dopo vari tentativi non è saltata fuori , nonostante l'addetta al telefono avesse preso i nostri nomi ed i nostri contatti. Siamo però riusciti ad entrare pagando come da promozione un euro. Il biglietto prevedeva l'ingresso nell'atrio del museo dove c'erano esposte delle lapidi e delle targhe , altre zone ci erano precluse, così ci siamo seduti un pochino e siamo andati via delusi.‬

‪Audioguida scaricata tramite QR code si autodistrugge dopo 24 ore !‬

‪È assurdo che dopo aver pagato 14 euro di biglietto la Audioguida ,scaricata tramite QR Code, si sia autodistrutta dopo 24 ore ! Che paure avete Voi organizzatori ? Che i visitatori , una volta a casa , potessero stampare un libro ? La si sarebbe conservata per ricordo di una squisita esperienza artistica ed emotiva ! Davvero un esito penoso ! ‬

‪A large museum. The Egyptian section was great upstairs lots to see but kids were tired and we had to rush through. Not expensive to enter. Worth a visit. You can purchase tickets at the desk.‬

‪Mi sono recata al museo per visitare la mostra "I pittori di Pompei". II reperti esposti sono notevoli, ma non condivido del tutto l'idea di presentare più opere molto simili rappresentanti gli stessi soggetti (ad esempio ben quattro "Selene ed Endimione"), con un'impostazione che sembra più da addetti ai lavori, anche data l'assenza di indicazioni oltre titolo dell'opera, provenienza, secolo e stile pittorico. C'è la possbilità di usufruire di un'audioguida, ma non l'ho provata e non so se fornisca indicazioni utili. Il punto è che il visitatore dovrebbe avere la possbilità di filtrare le informazioni e di seguire i propri ritmi (cosa non possibile ascoltando una voce registrata).
Al termine del percorso si accede ad un bookshop in cui, oltre a vari libri e gadget a tema, è possibile acquistare il catalogo della mostra (€ 32), un volume ben fatto ove le foto delle 123 opere esposte sono corredate da informazioni estese.
L'esposizione permanente presenta le medesime didascalie essenziali.
In generale ho riscontrato scarsa organizzazione e carenza di informazioni. All'interno del museo scarseggiano le indicazioni, le vie di accesso alle varie sezioni non sono segnalate, non ci sono mappe ed è difficile talvolta individuare un addetto a cui chiedere semplicemente la strada.
Confusione anche alla biglietteria; ci sono due sportelli separati per mostra e museo, ma attenzione: se volete visitare entrambi, avete sì diritto ad uno sconto, ma solo se fate prima il biglietto del museo e poi quello della mostra; il contrario non consente riduzioni e non è possibile fare entrambi i biglietti allo stesso sportello. Tutto ciò non è segnalato preventivamente.

Conclusioni: il museo è interessante e la mostra "I pittori di Pompei" (prorogata al 1 maggio 2023) vivamente consigliata (opere come "Filosofo con Macedonia e Persia" o "Parete in IV stile con nature morte" valgono da sole il costo del biglietto), ma l'esperienza è migliorabile.‬
