Il museo è piccolino ma pieno di informazioni interessanti. È stato allestito dall'associazione di ex partigiani di Bologna che lo hanno reso gratuito al pubblico.

Музей небольшой, но достаточно подробно рассказывает о итальянском антифашистском движении. Основные материалы на итальянском, но доступны и поясняющие материалы на английском. Узнал довольно много нового. Вход свободный.

Piccolo museo Grandi contenuti
Purtroppo non è subito raggiungibile dal centro di Bologna, ma con una buona e sana camminata si arriva a visitare un luogo intriseco di significato. Il museo è formato da varie piccole stanzette visitabili anche per ordine dei numerini scritti in cima alle entrate, principalmente si tratta di foto, video, poster e scritti, ma anche se parrebbe 'poco' in un primo impatto le storiche fotografie da vedere (che non solo riguardano Bologna durante la seconda guerra mondiale, ma anche Cotignola, Lugo, ecc..) colpiscono davvero molto (il più si vedono tramite uno slideshow da 2 vecchi Mac) ci si potrebbe stare ore e ore a guardale e rimirarle.

I was keen to visit this museum to learn about an aspect of World War Two which is not well known - the resistance of the people of Bologna to Fascism and the price many paid for this. This small museum tells its story extremely well and with both commitment and poignancy. Each room has a folder in English (and other major languages) which allows thorough understanding of the stories to be told. The volunteers who run it should be justifiably proud of their efforts.
Be careful to check out opening hours as these are quite limited.

Museo piccolino ma ben strutturato in varie salette a tema che riguardano la resistenza bolognese, anche relativamente al suo impegno nella guerra civile spagnola. Tante foto, vari manifesti e alcuni video permettono di ricordare e approfondire la nostra fondamentale cultura antifascista. Vengono organizzate anche visite guidate e l'ingresso è libero. Grazie mille a tutte quelle realtà (ANPI, Comune, Istituto Parri) coinvolte nella sua realizzazione e gestione.

We really enjoyed our visit to this museum! The exhibits were in Italian but there is a packet of everything translated to English to pick up as you enter each room. It's a small museum but it holds a lot of information, photos, and posters from the time period. We loved how they connected what was happening in bologna to the start of the fight against fascism in Spain. They also had a movie playing in one room and another room projecting photos onto the walls. Highly recommend to anyone insterested in this time of history.

The focus of the museum is to explain the role of italian/bolognan resistance in WW 2. But it does so much more than this. For me (a rather ignorant 60+ English woman) it helped me understand what happened in Europe before the war with Mussolini in Italy and the civil war in Spain. The maps showing who occupied which country at different times throughout WW2 were excellent. My only possible criticism is that the translation into English wasn’t always as good as it could be. In the first room - ‘anti fascism before resistance’ - it was excellent. It wasn’t as good elsewhere which did make it more difficult to understand. Especially if you don’t have an already good knowledge of WW2. That this museum is run by volunteers and is free is incredible. A very big thank you.

We found this totally by accident and were absolutely blown away by this marvellous little gem.
It doesn’t take long (about an hour, tops) to go through the rooms and every display panel is translated on handouts into multiple languages (including English obviously)
It’s an illustrative history of people coming together against fascism through strong use of narrative. It’s definitely not for children but a wise parent might take teenagers and book a tour in advance.

5 stelle per l'impegno profuso per una iniziativa con ingresso gratuito. Un baluardo della memoria della resistenza in una delle città simbolo. Da visitare assolutamente possibilmente accompagnati dagli amici che trattano l'argomento con troppa leggerezza.

Mi ci son trovato per caso e l'ho visitato con mia figlia. Taste testimonianze di anni bui dai quali e nata la nostra libertà e che non vanno dimenticati.
Ho visto pure le foto delle tessere per il pane e delle razioni alimentari spettanti di cui me ne parlava papà e che dovremmo far vedere a chi oggi spreca il cibo. Complimenti
