The collection is situated in a purpose-built 450 square meter structure (Lo scringo) raised 34 metres on the roof of the old FIST factory. It is worth a detour to see the re-purposing of the FIAT Lingotto factory into a mixed-use space by “starchitect”Renzo Piano. On the roof is a garden with the test race track. The gallery is up on top. Although the displayed collection is small it is comprised of Picasso, Manet, Matisse, Renoir, Modigliani, Tiepolo, Canaletto & Canova. As it is the Agnelli’s private collection I thought it was better to see it small, focused and of high quality. Some may find it too small and focused. There is also another exhibition space (Lee Lozano through until July) and a industrial design area that is part of the cafe. I think it is well with the visit combined with a walk around the test track.

Sintrova nella vecchia fabbrica storica della Fiat opere notevoli dal Canaletto al Bellotto e molto ben esposte.

For petrol heads a visit to the old FIAT factory and test track was a real test. Brilliant reimagining of the old factory which also gives stunning views of the city, mountains and hills. Wonderful to walk the track and also to see some amazing art from the Agnelli collection, several Picasso, Manet, a Modigliani and some canelettos.

La grande piste ne peux pas être vu en entier, on n’a pas pu voir les virages. Quand nous montons par les escaliers nous arrivons dans une salle avec plusieurs tableaux, et c’est tout.
Le prix est un peu cher pour ce qu’il en est.
Néanmoins les boissons au petit bar est à un prix vraiment correct.
La bibliothèque au début est belle avec des livres pour petits et grands

It’s a great building, preserving many of the features of the Fiat factory, such as the spiral ramps and the rooftop test track. The rooftop views are also impressive.
But the gallery is poorly signposted from outside and so confusing inside with its different levels and lifts that it’s hardly worth the trouble given how few paintings are on display.
I’m sure my lack of Italian played a part, but it was frustrating to be sent from the ground floor ticket office to a 4th floor ticket office, taking the wrong lift, being given the wrong ticket, going back to the ground floor to leave my coat and then being challenged on the 5th floor for having the wrong ticket for the gallery. On the 3rd floor they told me I would have to go back to the 4th to take the lift to the ground floor to collect my Turin card from my coat which I would then need to use to get the correct ticket from the 4th floor ticket office, at which point I could go back down to the 3rd floor to resume the exhibition. That’s when I gave up.

The main Exihibition was closed. The closure was not announced properly. They sold the tickets without mentioning the closure. They didn't bother to give the money back. Italian habits as to expect.

The number of paintings is small, and the visit is mainly justified by the wonderful location on the roof of the former Fiat factory buildings where gardens are created along the circuit, and some additional art can be viewed or listened to.

Avevo prenotato il biglietto per non avere sorprese e mi presento puntuale. Scopro solo all'ingresso che la collezione della pinacoteca è chiusa. Eppure avevo pure lasciato i miei contatti e nessuno mi ha avvisato (per cosa li ho lasciati?).
Chiedo e insisto per il rimborso ma è escluso.
Il ragazzo all'accettazione mi manda a vedere una esposizione temporanea (terrificante) di una artista che nemmeno lui sa chi sia e due euro (!) da spendere al bar equivale ad un minipanino freddo.
Continuo a protestare per mail e mi dicono che mi invitano gratuitamente nel prossimo anno, ma dovrei fare 350 chilometri apposta, ormai ho visto tutto a Torino.
Dovrebbe essere che se sbaglio io mi prendo le conseguenze, ma se è un problema di organizzazione mi si rimborsa: in questo caso mi becco il danno e la beffa.
Chicca finale: mi raccomandano di verificare prima l'apertura, cosa che purtroppo ho fatto e non è servita.
Dal comportamento sembra che i visitatori siano un incidente di percorso.
Fatevi un favore: andate da un'altra parte, risparmiate tempo e il biglietto della metro.

All'interno del centro commerciale abbiamo prima visitato la pista all'ultimo piano che racconta la storia incredibile di questo posto e poi la pinacoteca con opere dal valore inestimabile

Le lingotto c’est d’abord un immense centre commercial sans intérêt mais au milieu un accès à la collection Agnelli , superbe, puis au toit, magnifique. Et pour une fois à Turin dans le calme.

Yes there is a large car park there as is also shopping mall below. Also on the tram network passes the mall too.
