Όμορφη πλατεία με αρκετό κόσμο για να κάνεις τη βόλτα σου, να χαζέψεις τα μαγαζιά, να χαθείς στα στενάκια και το βράδυ να απολαύσεις ένα χαλαρό ποτό με θέα το porto vecchio. Επίσης αξίζει και μια βόλτα πάνω στο τοίχος.

Perdersi tra i vicoli stretti, bianchi, della città vecchia di Bari, ammirando le bellezze artistiche e le donne che preparano le orecchiette, contemplando il mare dall'alto e il castello Svevo, è un piacere che mi concedo almeno due volte l'anno. Riporto con me bellissimi ricordi e...qualche pacco di orecchiette!

Il ne faut pas hésiter à s'égarer dans les ruelles du vieux Bari, l'endroit respire le soleil et la vie du sud même en novembre...

Sympa à visiter,mais je trouve que les belles choses à voir sont vraiment éparpillés dans la ville

Just returned from 3 nights in Bari where weather was a warm 22 degrees during the day and sunny (apparently had rained for most of the previous week). A lovely city for a short break in good weather - if bad weather you probably need to like churches and shopping) . The old town is nice with plenty of places to eat. The Piazza Mercantile and the Piazza Del Ferrarese have plenty of places to eat and life in them until late in the evening. Just outside the old town is Corsa Vittoria Emanuele 11, which has lots of restaurants, and off this are many busy streets which lead down towards the railway station (a 10-15 walk from the old town) including the Via Sporano Da Bari which is full of designer shops. On top of all that the sea is a few minutes walk away with mostly nice views and walks-only bit i wouldn't recommend is the port side of the promontory (Corso Antonio De Tulia) which really has only the entry to the port. This city has a large University and was rammed with people on Saturday night and to a slightly lesser extent Sunday and had a nice feel to it. A place worth a visit

Bari vecchia è un mix di suggestione tra turismo e vita di ogni giorno....le orecchiette fatte per strada sono un'attrazione...ma poi ci sono i vicoli con i panni stesi che rappresentano la realtà quotidiana...pulita ed accogliente

Bari è molto carina, soprattutto il centro storico che si trova tra il lungomare ed il porto, racchiuso dalle mura.
Ci sono parecchi bar e ristoranti, qualche negozietto (chiuso di sera) e molte persone...
La sera la via delle orecchiette è deserta..
Tutto sommato è un posto carino

Look for the prominent, well marked Tourist Walk signs on building edges and follow the directions. The walk covers about 20 highlighted sites and has a wonderful historic feel to it as some of the sites are hundreds of years old. I saw amazing churches, castles, museums the marina, a lighthouse and performing arts theatres. From the Swabian Castelo Normanno-Sevo you walk to the Catedrale di San Sabino, then to the famous Basilica San Nicola. The walk continues along Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, then to the Theatro Margherita, Bari’s port – (Porto Vecchia), the Lungomari Murat promenade to see the Theatro Petruzzelli. It’s a magical route – well planned.

Ci siamo fatti una gran bella passeggiata per le vie del centro storico. Ci siamo rilassati, questo posto, questa città ci è piaciuta tantissimo.

Quindi non è più pericoloso addentrarsi in Bari vecchia? Un tempo il rischio di essere scippati era altissimo.

A noi è sembrato tranquillo sinceramente. Abbiamo girato con bambini e non ci siamo sentiti in "pericolo".
