Bari, una sorpresa, hermosa ciudad,, amplia con plazas y jardines floridos y muy cuidados,
El estilo arquitectónico muy bonito, edificios muy bien mantenidos.
La zona de la Citta Vecchia muy pintoresca con muchos restaurantes típicos y artesanías en sus callejuelas para perderse caminando.
Hermoso el Lungomare, para recorrer caminando a orillas del Adriatico.
Hotel IH Oriente, hermoso.
El estilo arquitectónico muy bonito, edificios muy bien mantenidos.
La zona de la Citta Vecchia muy pintoresca con muchos restaurantes típicos y artesanías en sus callejuelas para perderse caminando.
Hermoso el Lungomare, para recorrer caminando a orillas del Adriatico.

De laatste twee dagen van onze reis: Sinterklaasviering in Bari ... Men pakt uit tijdens deze viering ... Processies, lichtwerken, kermis, wandelen langs tientallen marktkraampjes en vuurwerk (ook om 8 uur in de ochtend) in en om de oude stad. Een gezellige drukte!

Belle promenade dans les ruelles du vieux Bari avec leurs petites boutiques et les incontournables étendages aux fenêtres. Partir de la basilique St Nicolas pour arriver au port

Il posto è molto bello, curato, pulito. Molto carini i vicoletti con le signore che preparano le orecchiette. Attenzione però alle zingare che si aggirano nella zona parcheggio. Ci hanno chiesto soldi, non si accontentano della monetina che gli dai e ti urlano cose bruttissime. Mio figlio si è spaventato per le brutte cose che ha urlato.Il comune dovrebbe prendere provvedimenti e cacciarle. Sono una brutta copertina per il posto.

Sorprendente!!! Estamos vivenciando experiencia maravillosas. Lugar distinguido, amigable y muy bello. Se puede recorrer diferentes Ciudades, en tren, autobús o en bicicleta!!! Maravilloso lugar

L'unico vero motivo per cui vale fare un salto a Bari è proprio la visita tra i vicoli di Bari Vecchia, per vedere le massaie che preparano le orecchiette per strada, le chiese, il castello, i teatri e per assaggiare lo street food caratteristico.

La città vecchia di Bari è bellissima, un dedalo di viuzze e piccole piazze, casette ecc. Si arriva alla Chiesa di San Nicola racchiusa da grate in ferro. Suggerisco anche Piazza Mercantile e la passeggiata sulla Muraglia.

Buongiorno, io conosco il parcheggio con bus navetta in largo 2 giugno. Il bus si prende fuori dal parcheggio che costa solo un euro al giorno, comprensivo di biglietto per l'autobus andata e ritorno (linea C), che porta in centro, proprio vicino alla città vecchia. Naturalmente ce ne sono altri di parcheggi, come per esempio quello vicino alla spiaggia libera di Pane e pomodoro, a sud di Bari. Ma ce ne sono altri ancora, che però non conosco

Hi! We will be spending only one night in Bari. Arriving around lunch time on a Sunday and leaving on Monday to go to Rome. We will be driving, and staying at the old town. We know we can't park in the old town and were told the street around it is free parking. I see there are some garages in the area, does anyone know if parking is always per hour, or if they have a over night fee? I have been searching and not able to get an answer for that. Appreciate any help. Thanks!

There is a hotel close by called Boston, my friend have been there with kids and say it was nice and not too expensive.

1. Do they make it on Saturday?
2. Is there a place close to park my car and walk over?
Or is it too difficult to get to with a vehicle?

You can leave your car on the lungomare and walk to the bari vecchia. There are few houses with old ladies making pasta but you may need to make couple of circles on these streets to find one of them. They usually do it in the morning about 10-11am on saturdays too.

Where can I get info on the bus lines/routes that connect the train station with the old city? I am trying to find a B&B that is sensibly near a bus stop so I can easily get to/from the station for day trips.

DAVE here again: It appears that there is a bus #20 that connects the port with the train station. Does it stop elsewhere? Just trying to get a B&B with easy bus access to the station as I plan to be making several day trips with my wife over 5-6 days and she doesn't care for long walks. THANKS
