‪El último atractivo con el que nos encontramos fue, en una calle paralela al turismo más clásico, está iglesia que se levanta en una bonita plazuela donde los locales parecen tener un respiro‬

‪Small but beautiful ‬

‪Beautiful little church in the middle of town. Has some really nice mosaic pictures as you walk along. It isn't very big but still worth seeing. AND ITS FREE! A must see if you like visit old school churches.‬

‪The only one‬

‪It is call a Cathedral, but please don't expect the usual Cathedral of Europe. This is a simple church ..stone walls, stone floor and nothing else, like if "may be" You were in 18 or 19 century. The outside is same simplicity with a yard of hundreds chairs. ...And basically..this is the only attraction of Olbia...that you can walk in only 1 day.‬

‪The only other sight that we saw on day two of our tour of Olbia, apart from this fad of men wearing trousers far too short for them, was the 15th century church - Chiesa Parrocchiale di S.Paolo Apostolo - reconstructed in the 18th and 19th centuries and doesn't it show. From the outside the church is pleasant enough with a domed roof formed in a multicoloured zigzag pattern. It reminded me that my Missoni jumper needs to be taken to the the dry cleaners. Inside is where the disaster started. The artwork was too terrible to be forgiven, the wall paintings looked as though they had come from a child's book of stickers, a young child at that. It was so off-putting I couldn't remember anything else.

The outside did make a super backdrop for a couple of pictures.

‪Suggestiva visita di questa Chiesa dedicata a San Paolo che permette una completa immersione nell'antichità e nella fede. Ottimi i restauri effettuati e gli affreschi che donano un'ulteriore fascino al luogo sacro. Notevole la cupola esterna con maiolica policroma. Piacevole sostare nella piazzetta antistante, fuori dal traffico pedonale turistico.
Scorcio inatteso di una Olbia da scoprire.‬

‪Bella Chiesa non molto grande nell'omonimo Quartiere San Paolo di Olbia; si presenta bene fin dall'esterno e poi all'interno ci sono alcune cose particolarmente interessanti come, ad esempio, il gran numero di affreschi nelle pareti ed in parte nel soffitto. Bello il Pulpito, carino l'Organo non molto grande. Carina vista dall'esterno anche la Cupola decorata con mattonelle colorate.‬
