Fabrizio was a knowledgeable and organized guide for the monuments and markets of Palermo. He shared information about history and folklore which enhanced our sense of the local culture. We would recommend this tour to others as a helpful orientation to the city of Palermo.

A great tour with a mix of culture and food. Fabrizio was really helpful recommending a place to park near the start of the tour and he was charming and engaging on the tour itself, which was a perfect mix of food and cultural visits. The cathedral visit needs your shoulders covered so take a scarf or buy one at the entrance. We enjoyed watching the arancini being made in the market and the rest stop at this restaurant was very relaxed and welcome in the heat, with beer and water freely available. Do watch your pockets in the narrow market: one of the other tour participants had their phone and wallet scanned through his back pocket but thankfully he felt it happening and he was able to cancel his card before it was cloned and used.

Fabrizio was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the Markets and Monuments walking and Street food tour. The tour gave us a good taste of Palermo both in food and culture.

This tour was so amazing. The perfect amount of food, walking, and history about Palermo. Fabrizio was so interesting and passionate about his city. Our family had a 7 and 11 year old and they both loved the tour. It was an extremely hot day but he ensured we were in shade and still enjoyed the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in Palermo.

In our travels, we have known very good guides, but Maurizio is really engaging. He told us about Palermo, not exaggerating with useless information or, as he says: “that you can read yourself”, but transferring all his knowledge (so much) to make us live the sites visited with details and links that only a person as prepared as he can transmit. We were lucky enough to participate in two tours on different days so we could better appreciate his tireless telling.

Beautiful tour of Palermo: we were on a cruise and went down for half a day... despite the little time available Maurizio allowed us to taste a part of the city with historical information and anecdotes! We hope to return soon and have more time to learn more about this fabulous city!!
