‪Palermo up close and personal‬

‪Perfect day in Palermo with our guide Saro. He was so attentive to helping us find our meeting point with frequent communications. He kept us connected and before and after our day together. Saro tailored the day to our personal interests and gave us plenty time to linger as we wished in any particular location. We would never have had such a memorable trip without his expertise.‬

‪An outstanding day in Palermo!‬
‪أكتوبر 2019‬
‪We spent the day prior to our departure from Sicily, with Saro. He had been recommended by a travel agent friend. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, informative and entertaining time. We did a walking tour of Palermo including eating at two outdoor markets. He then arranged transportation to the airport for us.
I would highly recommend Saro for your tour.‬

‪Saro is a gem!‬

‪An amazing tour with Saro, who is a gem! Four of us had very little time in Palermo but Saro was able to work out a morning tour of the city that included tasting local specialties. He is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and you can tell he loves sharing his Sicily with travellers. We highly recommend Saro and excellent Personal Guide Sicily!‬

‪Saluto Saro‬

‪We are a family of four and had only a short stay in Palermo to kick off our week in Sicily. We pre-arranged a 4 hour walking tour with Saro around Palermo and I’m so happy we did. Saro turned up at our accommodation to begin the tour and we hit it off straight away. Saro’s love for Palermo came through and he was able to take us through its history and cultural insights as we casually walked through this amazing city. Saro used his charm and influence to get into places that other tourists don’t get a chance, we saw a side of Palermo not normally open to outsiders. We also went through the markets and had a traditional Sicilian lunch which was one of the highlights. It was great chatting to Saro and learning so much, not only about Palermo, where to go to eat and drink, but also about himself...we really became friends and he made us feel truly comfortable. So much so that our ‘tour’ went for 7 hours! A real genuine Palmertani! Saluto Saro!‬

‪Amazing guide‬

‪Saro was our guide for our 5 days in Sicily. Before the trip, he was prompt in his responses to our emails and was willing to put together an itinerary that fitted everything we wanted to see. As a guide, he was informative and interesting, and also had a sense of humour. One of us suffered from car sickness and Saro was patient with this. Thank you Saro. We would recommend Saro as a guide because of his knowledge of the past and present of Sicily is amazing, and because of his passion for Sicily.‬

‪Lovely Afternoon Walking Tour with Saro!‬

‪We were in Palermo for a few days and we love doing food tours. Personal Guide Sicily had a wine and chocolate tour. That sounded lovely to me! I tried to book way in advance (I'm a planner type of person). A few back and forth emails closer to the trip we had our tour booked. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a holiday on the day the tour was to happen, but Saro really came through. The shops we were to visit were closed, but he took us on a lovely walking tour of the old city and then surprised us with a picnic of wine and chocolate! He had bought everything the day before and had it saved for us. This is real customeor service. One of the best endings to a walking tour ever!‬

‪Memorable day in Palermo‬

‪Surpassed my expectations. Our guide “Saro” was not only knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the city, but quickly understood our interests. He communicated often prior to our meeting. Saro was very attentive and helpful assuring our meeting point was clear and convenient for us. Our day was full of discoveries and very memorable.‬

‪Saro took us on a great walking tour of Palermo and he is very friendly and knowledgeable and passionate about the city. A highlight for me was wandering in the
Mercado balarrò a very ancient and characterful part of the city and the oldest street food market. Saro introduced us to the local makers and food specialities and I loved tasting the warm Panel made from chickpeas. This man can show you the real Palermo!

Saro is a charming guide and it was a really good way for us to get to know the city- we were en route to Cyracuse with only half a day in Palermo and this tour really made our speedy visit worthwhile.

Thank you Saro we hope to see you again!‬

‪A trip of lifetime with the help of Saro‬

‪We met our extended family from Sicily with Saro providing transportation, interpretation services and tour services. We had an unforgettable day with our Sicilian family due to Saro. He is amazing and made our trip super special. He is very personable, knowledgeable about Sicily and all around great guy.‬
