Sebastiano is a professional mariner and a consummate gentleman. His knowledge of the sea, authentic lifelong experience of that coastline, and his deep love of Siracusa was inspirational. He knew every wave and every breeze. We swam in coves and pristine waters and laughed and soaked up his knowledge and enthusiasm. His preparation of his spotless and organized boat and respect of the sea combined with fun, humour and attention to our comfort and experience was exceptional. We dove with him for sea urchin! Ate them right on the boat! He provided beverages, bread, appetizers, Prosecco, beer - it was magical and we loved it. Grazie mille Sebastiano!!

We a booked a boat tour for 9 and had a great time! Sebastiano was a brilliant host and provided drinks and snacks, all in all a lot of effort was put into making it a special experience. Sebastiano also had plenty of snorkelling masks and floats for us, and a camera we could use to take photos in the water. He sent through the photos of the day afterwards. Great experience, would definitely recommend. Grazie Sebastiano!

Sebastiano is a safe, welcoming and knowledgeable skipper who has a carefully looked-after boat (RIB) with a powerful outboard engine. He is also great company and has some wonderful stories about growing up in the region of Syracuse.
My girlfriend and I booked a half day for just the two of us with Sebastiano. He picked us up in his car from the bridge in Ortigia/Syracuse at around 9.00AM. We drove about 20 minutes to the marina and Sebastiano prepared the boat whilst we enjoyed the sunshine and sea views.
We went to three sites over the half day, each with its own charms. One of the highlights included a beach accessible only by boat. Sebastiano has snorkelling equipment on board which we made use of. He has traditional masks as well as full-face masks incorporating a snorkel for those who are less confident or experienced.
I have been a diver and spear fisherman for many years and feel that I am able to recognise a skilled and safe skipper. Sebastiano is undoubtedly one of them. He was careful with assisting my girlfriend in and out of the water, always had his eye on us when we were swimming, and ensured that the sun awning was raised at the appropriate time to protect us from being overexposed to the Sicilian sun.
We had booked the experience because it was my birthday. Sebastiano celebrated with us and opened a lovely bottle of prosecco for my partner and I to share. It was a birthday I will not forget, and Sebastiano played a very significant role in making it special.
Once we got back to shore, Sebastiano asked us if we would be interested in joining him for lunch at a restaurant he is fond of. We gratefully accepted and went to a small local restaurant along an unassuming road. We had a very reasonably priced meal including some excellent spaghetti ai frutti di mare (seafood spaghetti), which was among the best meals we had in our week in Syracuse.
Overall I would unreservedly recommend Siracusa Mare and its excellent skipper, Sebastiano. He is delightful company and his personality alone means that I will certainly be coming back. Moreover, the places we went with him were beautiful, the boat was comfortable and fast, and the price was extremely reasonable.

Domenica bellissima a bordo del gommone di Skipper Sebastiano. Persona cortese, gentile e molto preparata, fa di tutto per far passare una piacevole esperienza a bordo, e devo dire ci riesce egregiamente.

We were a group of 5 ladies and had the best morning at sea with Sebastian!! He made us feel very welcome!
We caught a fish, snorkelled, drank beer, ate delicious snacks and made memories for life!
Sebastian even had a go pro camera so we could video our trip!!
Book with Sebastian!! 10/10!!

Es war traumhaft schön, vor allem war Sebastian so angenehm und dezent und total bemüht uns einen unvergesslichen Ausflug zu bescheren, was ihm auch gelungen ist. Wir würden die Tour jederzeit wieder mit Sebastian machen.

Sebastiano was flexible and accommodating to all of our many needs. He was charming, outgoing and friendly. He had food and drinks on board and took us to some amazing spots. We would highly recommend him for a enjoyable day at sea.

We (a family of four with two adult 'children') had a fantastic afternoon of boating, swimming and snorkeling in beautifully clear water bays, seeing loads of sea life and trying some fishing.
Sebastiano was really helpful, friendly and fun. He organised a taxi for us to and from Ortigia, provided snorkeling and fishing equipment, let up use his go-pro to take some underwater photos and supplied drinks and snacks. I could not recommend him more.

My sister and I had a morning trip with Skipper Sebastiano in September for snorkelling. We saw amazing crystal waters, we snorkelled and saw many fish and beautiful sea life, we saw the protected area of Plemmiro with its beautiful underwater sea grass.
Sebastiano was so kind he even picked us up from our hotel and dropped us home again. He brought drinks, snacks and mini pizzas and was so kind and knowledgable and a true gentleman!
We had a wonderful unforgettable day and saw some beautiful sights.
Highly recommended!
