I haven't visited Florence in years as I tend to stay in the countryside. On my last trip through wine country I stopped by San Gimignano and bought a GORGEOUS handbag from Le Torri shop. What a wonderful experience. the shop owner was delightful and patient as it took me quite a while to pick out the perfect bag. I'm in love with this product. The quality is amazing and will last you the rest of your life!!!!

I purchased a beautiful white leather purse and love it. I used it all through Europe and back at home. The service was good and the owner was very nice. I would defiantly go back.

The quality of the leather bags are amazing! Umberto himself helped me find the perfect bag. He said he made it himself and it's great to get such genuine high quality products. (Not cheap, but worth it!)

I wandered into this store and found a gem! The quality of the merchandise is superior and the service is excellent. The owner helped me choose some gifts and then gave me a discount on an item for myself! There are hundreds of leather stores on Florence, but I would strongly recommend this one and will return.

My wife and I visited several higher end leather shops looking for a nice crossbody bag. This place had a nice selection of leather bags and we found one we both liked. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and helped us find the right bag. I have used the bag for several weeks now and it is definitely quality ... well designed, nice leather and well made. We'd definitely go there again.

Walked in with my wife and the smell of the place is great due to all the leather on the inside. Bought my wife a nice leather bag and swapped stories with the owner and his son. Both real nice guys. They provided documents to get reimbursed on the EU sales tax also, which saved me some money. I recommond this place highly

I first met Signor Umberto way back in 1973 during one of my first trips to Firenze. I remember a young energetic man in his mid-thirties, totally committed to his craft. Over the course of the following decades I visited Umberto’s cavern on numerous occasions and always managed to bring back one of his exquisite creations, whether it be a leather coat, a briefcase or the classic belt. Whenever I push the door to the store I am always overwhelmed by a variety of emotions, whether it be the recollection of times past or the subtle smell of leather. And to this day it remains a treat to find a slightly older Umberto displaying his latest creations with his enduring bonhomie.
While in Firenze a couple of months ago I brought Umberto a travel purse to which I am deeply attached but which had seen better days. I was quite reluctant to let it go but Umberto convinced me to let him give it a try and voilà ! A new lease on life and a very happy camper.

Pelleteria Umberto offers excellent quality and high style leather goods and accessories. You can find lots of cheap leather products all over Florence, but Umberto offers real made in Italy products with classic designs. If you want low prices, go somewhere else. It's a must stop for anyone looking for quality leather goods. Second time I've purchased leather goods from this shop. It's an absolute must see for the discriminating consumer with a eye for style and quality.

I stumbled upon this store by accident while looking for the antique district. I walked in and was immediately transported to leather bag heaven. I purchased the most exquisite leather bag that had just come off the runway in Milan. Forget about the plastic/vinyl purses that are way over priced. Get the real thing at this amazing store. I will head back there again.
