De Blauwbrug is een onopvallende brug over de Amstel, er staan een paar fraaie ornamenten op maar ook die trekken niet echt de aandacht. Vanaf de brug heb je wel mooi zicht op de Amstel en op de Stopera.

Vi capiterà di passare di qui facendo il giro dei canali. Io sono partita da Groenburgwal, un ponte mobile che per molti olandesi costituisce il panorama più bello dei canali. Passando poi per lo Stopopera, che ospita il Municipio, sono arrivata al Blauwbrug, ponte blu, costruito nel 1884 e ispirato ai ponti di Parigi. Cercate le sculture dei pesci e dei lampioni

Ci sono tanti canali da ammirare, ma forse prestiamo tutti poca attenzione ai ponti di Amsterdam, che sono spesso davvero belli. Uno dei più caratteristici della città è senza dubbio il Blauwbrug, un po' distante dalle attrazioni più famose, seppur centrale, si distingue tra le altre cose per la sua imponenza, e con le barche nei pressi si presa a foto molto interessanti.

Built in the late 1800's it connects Waterlooplein, with Rembrantplein, crossing the Amstel. The ornate lanterns add to the beauty of the bridge.

Il Ponte Blu attraversa l'Amstel e conduce al quartiere ebraico della città. Bel panorama verso sud (Magere Brug ed Amstelsluizen) e verso nord (Waterlooplein e Stadhuis - Muziektheater), Da non pedere i piloni che sorreggono i lampioni abbelliti da simboli marinari.

For leftist militants this bridge will forever be linked with battle. During the coronation of a new queen -30 April 1980- the bridge was the scene of confrontation between special police units (ME) and protesters who tried to make their way to Dam square. At the time the adjacent Stopera area was just a bare lot of land suitable for both mounted police and youngsters to fight it out.
For lovers of city architecture it is just another monumental bridge. Built in 1883, the design inspired by Pont Neuf across the Seine river in Paris.

Blauwbrug je pekný most, ale strašne preplnený turistami. Každý sa tu fotí. A tak tu spraviť fotku bez turistov je nemožné.

Caratteristico paesaggio di Amsterdam con vista sui canali e di fianco un ponte levatoio. Ottimo lo scorcio su Amstel.

Il Blauwbrug è sicuramente uno dei ponti piu' famosi di Amsterdam, dal fascino parigino, realizzato nel 1883 su modello del Ponte Alessandro II di Parigi, per sostituire un vecchio ponte in legno. Decorato con sculture di pesci con la Corona Imperiale e adornato da lampioni, in origine era colorato di blu, da qui il nome di Ponte Blu, presenta 3 aperture per consentire il passaggio delle imbarcazioni. Si trova sull' Amstel, tra Rembrandtplein e Waterlooplein, è bello percorrerlo a piedi ammirando scorci caratteristici, e una bella vista sulla Stoppera, il Teatro dell' Opera.
