"Our guided walk in Amsterdam Bos (forest) with Monica was very educational and a lot of fun! We both learned how to identify new species of birds, trees, and plants. We also learned about the parks history and formation. Monica knew the ins and outs of the park and was able to show us new spots we had never seen before. She had great tips for viewing wildlife and is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. I highly recommend going out for a walk with her in any of the Amsterdam parks!

It was a pleasure to be your guide to the Amsterdamse bos. Even though you are very knowledgeable yourself, being an ex park ranger, you were very interested and keen to learn about European species. So thanks for taking the tour with me and for your kindness in writing a review!

I stumbled upon this tour website and decided to book a tour for me and my partner. We recently moved to Amsterdam and have seen some tourist-y sites so we wanted to experience Amsterdam in a bit more of an authentic way. I can't express how much we enjoyed this tour. Even though it was a cold day we were completely engrossed in Monica's stories about the history of Vondelpark and the surrounding animal and plant life. You can't help but share Monica's passion for nature when you are being shown sometimes the smallest detail of how it all works together. I would highly recommend this for anyone who likes nature or who just wants to be guided through this famous park. Thanks Monica and we will hopefully join you for a foraging tour soon!
