Incredibly well done. Visually striking. Audioguide was easy and informative. If you cannot decide between this and the Van Loon Museum, definitely DO THIS ONE.

Não dá pra explicar somente indo pra entender e vale muito a pena ! Uma casa antiga, casa museu, com uma igreja barroca dentro.. enfim incrível

The museum was recommended to us by friends and we were so glad we took the time to visit. Really interesting place, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the audio guide was very informative.

Hidden gem and very informative. The audio guide brought the place to life. You have to go through a haze of pot to get there but definitely worth it.

This is such a great museum, a hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially as I wear hearing aids and can’t really hear the audio, they went out of their way to provide me with reading materials instead which really helped. There are lockers to put your bags in as there are lots of small awkward steps to climb throughout and as you explore you will see very grand 17th century living quarters, a kitchen with the typical Dutch delft designs which I love and of course the highlight was the secret church in the attic! This was created when the right of Catholics to worship in public was taken away which was crazy to me but the church in the attic with its stunningly beautiful alter and organ that can also be viewed and admired from an upper level and was so eye catching and great to learn that mass is still held here. The gift shop had a lot of delft items to buy and other interesting pieces but all in all such a great experience and absolutely worth a visit!

Wat een mooi museum! Verassend op deze wel heel erg toeristische plek. Mooi ontsloten, fraaie trappen, leuke kastjes voor kinderen, mooie toelichting op het kleuronderzoek. Meer Nederlanders zouden dit moeten bezoeken

屋根裏に隠されたカトリック教会です。長崎・五島列島の隠れキリシタンの教会を少し思い出しました。
オランダは、今でもプロテスタントの教会が主流のようです。
入口は、通路を隔てた隣の建物の１階から入り、地下通路を抜けて隣の建物に行き、上に登っていく感じです。その入口の上には、オランダ語の表示があるので上を注意してみてください。
入場料は16.5€と高めなので、私はここでMuseumkaart（64.9€）を購入して入りました。アンネフランクの家やゴッホ美術館など高めの美術館に５つ行かれる方にはお薦めのカードで、他で詳しく書きましたが、Museumkaart枠で予約しておくと便利です。

It is recommended to pre book a slot to visit and that was very easy to do online. The staff were very friendly and the shop on the way in was tasteful but I also managed to buy a glittery Virgin Mary Snow globe, so that satisfied me!
The museum itself has lots of stairs, so be aware of that, though I think there might be an accessibility lift of some kind. The one way system really helps to keep stair crowding to a minimum. There is a short introductory film and an audio guide as you go through the rooms and the history of the house and the church is fascinating. I would highly recommend this place for an unusual glimpse of Amsterdam history- even if churches aren’t generally your thing!

Fraai verzorgd museum dat ik twee uur heb verkend. Ik waande me in een andere tijd die me door Mieke van der Weij werd toegelicht. Een prachtige schuilkerk ervaring aangevuld met unieke kunststukken.

I do not know for sure, but if it were me I’d feel comfortable going without a specific time reservation. There were about 6 people when we visited, it’s not like visiting a major museum.

Lo può prendere tranquillamente al momento della visita. Nel prezzo è compresa l'audioguida in italiano.
Bellissima la visita a questo museo della "Chiesa nascosta" trascurato dai turisti per gli altri musei celebri.

Yes 1 hour will do it. We bought Iamsterdam card so we had a lot of museums to visit. You could linger for longer if desired. Check out my 5 day itinerary for other places to visit. If travelling with kids the Science museum NEMO is a must. Enjoy, it's a wonderful city.

No I do not believe there will be in July. We were there about 10 in the morning. No line whatsoever.
Here's the phone # +31(0)20 6246 604. Only lines we have experienced regarding museums ( Anne Frank's Museum) we purchased on line tickets with a date and time (strongly recommend) otherwise YOU WILL STAND IN LINE FOR SOME TIME!!

Thanks for your question and interest in our museum! I hope you don't mind me answering in English. There is a special student rate for the museum: € 7,50-. This also counts for international students, you just have to show your student card to the cashier.
