I played this on a day where the weather threatened and wind was up.
This is a terrific golf course. The A course is very scenic and plays easiest going away from the clubhouse. However on return into a wind, you’ll work much harder.
The C course is much more open and starts with a wonderfully intimidating tee ball. Again the course played easier going away from the clubhouse. There is a short uphill par three that if you’re short, you’ll pay but it’s a beautiful hole. Many of the tees are elevated offering terrific views.
The pro shop staff were very friendly. I had a discussion with a member while he read his paper and he offered up much of the clubs history. Thank you Pe..... The clubhouse is super nice and steeped in history.
My opinion only, I found this course to be the best links of the three I visited in the Netherlands to play.
I would rate the links courses as follows.
#1 Kennemer GC
#2 Domburg GC (9 hole)
#3 Royal Hague
Kennemer GC is very costly at 140€.

Die Buchung war easy und problemlos. Die Angestellten im Office sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Clubhaus ist der absolute Hammer, man kann sich gut in die Zeit versetzen, als die noblen Herren hier Golf zelebriert haben. Zum Platz ist zu sagen, gut gepflegt mit dem einen oder anderen Makel aber auch dem einen oder anderen Charme des Alters. Das Greenfee ist eindeutig zu teuer und wohl eher der Tradition geschuldet als der Qualität der drei 9 Loch Plätze. Die Runde hat Spaß gemacht und der Oberkellner des Clubhauses war mit seiner schrulligen Freundlichkeit der positive Knaller zum Abschluss.

Nous avons eu la chance de jouer sur les parcours A et C de ce magnifique links. Challenging et varié, ce terrain sur lequel le KLM Open a été organisé plusieurs fois, est un ravissement pour tous les handicaps. Le terrain et les greens sont exceptionnellement bien entretenus. À ne pas manqué: le club house qui mérite à lui seul le détour.

Played this as part of a 3 round golf holiday around Amsterdam. This was the first course we played and set a high bar. The course has great character and some very testing holes. The greens were very true. EUR100 for visitors was good value. There are 3 nines - we played Pennick/Colt courses from the yellow tees and this proved a good, fair challenge for us 11 handicappers. Rough was quite penal if you went off line.
Well worth playing. We received a friendly welcome.

Although the course is not long, play requires accurate shotmaking. Classic lay-out, beautiful clubhouse but beware of some unfriendly members who act as if they own the course for their sole pleasure

毎年KLMオープンが開催される1910年開場の名門コースです。
原則メンバー同伴で無ければプレー出来ませんが、「日本から来る友人を、この素晴らしいコースに是非案内したい」と言ったらメンバーでも無いのに予約出来たそうです。
うねりのあるフェアウェイ、深いラフ、ポッドバンカー、ポテチ状のグリーンとリンクス特有のコースに痛めつけられ楽しみました。KLMオープン間近で、最終ホールの観客席や仮設の建物が建設されていたので、トーナメント仕様になっていたと思います。
土曜の午後でしたが、プレーヤーは疎ら。ご夫婦や友人のツーサムが殆どです（我々は3人）。プレー後は簡素なロッカールームでシャワーの後、藁屋根のクラブハウスのレストランで食事。こういったノンビリプレーが本来のゴルフ&クラブライフだな～、と感じ入りました。
尚、欧州ですので表示はヤードでなくメートル、ピンが日本より短いので実際より距離が遠く感じます。
