Because of the beautiful spring weather we went from Utrecht for a day in Giethoorn. Reception was again super, informal, enthusiastic and cordial. You are more than welcome to take a look at the workshop. The sailing route and explanation of the sloop are given clearly and quietly. We choose the longest route ourselves, this is doable in 4 hours with even room for a picnic (+/- 30 min clearance) and of course because of the spacious and very authentic look of these beautiful punters, we will definitely be back again 😃

Very friendly received by Yvonne. The roadmap was already ready with a mapped route, the fleece blankets were also ready.
We had booked 3 hours, the route was 2h30 which gave us the opportunity to get off in Giethoorn.
How we enjoyed the peace and splendour of nature around Giethoorn!
Spotted a lot of species of birds with 2 roe deer as the icing on the cake.
After the cruise in our punter, we were invited to see the boatyard. Each punter is still made by hand, with love for the trade and for the wood. Wonderful to see.
Our kids really loved this trip.

A wonderful cruise, a beautiful route through the still waters of Giethoorn, in a beautiful spacious boat with soft cushions. The service was good and the staff extremely friendly.

We had a wonderful trip with an authentic wooden boat of Wildeboer. It was fully equipped with comfortable cushions and some extra blankets.
Yvonne was very warm-hearted and welcoming and even gave us the chance to have a look at the stunning shipbuilding yard.
The map she offered us was really helpful due to the photos of navigation points included for different routes.
We can highly recommend this extraordinary boat rental to experience beautiful Giethoorn.

Wonderful Experience. Beautiful wooden boats built by their shipyard. Location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. Taking the routes suggested by the loveky lady also allowed us to see some areas outside of the most popular tourist area. Very detailed explanations and directions regarding route and use of boat. Overall wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and go back when visiting again in the future.

With four children and dog we were on a boat tour in Giethoorn. At Wildeboer we rented a beautiful wooden boat for this purpose and drove 2.5h across the canals. It was also great that you could choose different routes with different times. It was also nice and attentive that each of us got a warm fleece blanket for the tour in October under overcast skies. We took the route with 2 hours but then it took us longer because we got lost and the woman did not make us pay more. You could take a break in town and eat ice cream. The boat was equipped with a quiet electric motor, was easy to steer and so the children could also ride it without any problems. Other boats have also been seen on the tour. On our arrival came a dear dog who likes to be petted and greeted us. At the end of the tour we were able to visit the boat building in the shipyard of Wildeboer and see how much work but also love goes into each boat. All in all we had great experiences and a great family time.

The rental went uncomplicated and the landlady was super nice. She explained the different tours well to us. It was nice to drive through nature first and then through the city. In the city it is rather crowded on a nice day, as the peace on the way back is very pleasant. You also have a slightly longer tour and for us the rental was right nearby.
The handling of the boats was easy and we had a wonderful day. We also had the most beautiful boats on the lake!
We would recommend Punterwerf Wildeboer.

With the whole family we sailed around for 3 hours in a beautiful boat and afterwards we were allowed to look around in the workshop where the boats are built. Impressive experience. Before departure we received detailed explanations about the route to sail. Big advantage that the outside the busy area starts making it all a bit more relaxed than in the center of Giethoorn. Highly recommended.

It was a beautiful punter entirely of wood and with electric motor. We were 8 adults and there was plenty of room on board.

Where in Giethoorn do you pick up the boat rental and return it?

We have a group of 6 people and plan to arrive in Geithoorn on saturday june 1, 2019. Will 6 of us fit on one boat and do you have one available?

Yes, we were also 6 (adults) and no problem. You van book at Punterwerfs website orgive them a call. Good choise with this wooden sloop and have a nice time in Giethoorn

Transportation from Amsterdam is a little difficult using buses and trains.
it is said to last about three hours.
