‪The Tower is a tourist attraction in the city of Utrecht. Unfortunately when I was there they were restoring it, so it was not possible to see it well or enter it.‬

‪Hij is in verbouwing en dus ingepakt! Dus een speciaal bezoek aan de toren kan je beter even uitstellen! Zal ook nog even gaan duren!‬

‪Amazing view good tour guide‬

‪Despite the tower being clad in scaffolding it’s still worth a tour to climb to the top. 495 steps (which get narrower as you ascend) you need to have strong legs! The tour guide was excellent & spoke good English. It was interesting to hear a little about the construction & history of the tower & church & the view was fantastic well worth the climb. I think the price was a little steep - 50 euros for four of us but we found all of Utrecht expensive!‬

‪Too expensive for a trip up and down an elevator‬

‪We did the tower tour with the elevator and it cost EUR15. For the price, we expected that the guide would show us some things and explain the history of the tower, etc. Nope, not at all. We went up the elevator, looked around for a few minutes and then went down the elevator. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. So EUR 15 for a trip up and down an elevator. Very disappointing.‬

‪We came to Utrecht in part to see the Dom Tower. It was sad to see it under restoration (if we speak selfishly) but glad to see it is being taken care of. We shall return once the work is done‬

‪The Dom tower looks an impressive size but it has been convered in scaffolding for a couple of years. There is some information at the site but still disappointing.‬

‪I visited Utrecht in July 2022 and at this time the tower was covered with scaffolding and sheeting to protect it as it was under restoration. I look forward to returning in the future to admire it properly.‬

‪Can't wait until this beautiful tower is finally fully renovated. It's a landmark in Utrecht and the view from the top is absolutely stunning.‬

‪Met de lift naar boven is al een belevenis: langzaam wordt er steeds meer zichtbaar van Utrecht. Boven aangekomen kun je helemaal rondlopen en de stad en omgeving goed bekijken. De contouren van Rotterdam waren zelfs zichtbaar.‬

‪Amazing!‬

‪The first day of my trip was weekend in the Netherlands, so I had enough time to walk around in calm when everybody was sleeping in the morning. So I walked around the Utrecht and the Dom Tower was one of the most amazing places I visited. Unfortunately because of the construction, I couldn't go inside.‬
