Je moet je van tevoren aanmelden en het kost voor volwassenen 9,5€ maar dan krijg je een rondleiding door een enthousiaste gids die erg veel over de historie weet en die de tijd neemt om vragen te beantwoorden uit de kleine groep. En dat leidt weer tot meer inzichten. Een aanrader, want absoluut geen normaal museum. Geen toilet, geen garderobe, geen kantine, geen karaokeshows….helemaal terug in de tijd.

This was a very nice experience, walking straight into the early 17th century. It was as if we'd visit William Bradford himself in his humble home.
It's tiny, but the collection and the explanation of the host made up for this.
I'd recommend reserving a visit when in Leiden.

Great little museum, absolute gem for people interested in history. The lady who gave us the tour knew everything! Whatever question I asked she knew the answer and could tell a wonderful story about each item. Highly recommended!

Very interesting and provides another perspective of the Pilgrims that I did not learn in school back in the 50's and 60's.

Joined a tour here in this delightful old house used by the pilgrims who left for the new world in the 1620s. Left in its original state with furniture and artefacts - a real gem

Boek gelezen over de Pelgrim Fathers en in Leiden het Museum bezocht wat nog in de staat is (of gemaakt is) zoals de Pelgrim Fathers hebben geleefd. Heel interessant .

This museum is small but powerful, it is like time travel! There are only two rooms but they look like homeowners just stepped out. Truly authentic! Very sweet and knowledgeable docent!

I enjoyed going round this museum, it was interesting and unusual. The staff could not have been more friendly.

True treasure. The museum was tiny...two rooms filled with artifacts from the 1600s and earlier. Unlike other museums, these items were in open view, no glass barriers. The effect was the room, the objects, and the former inhabitants seemed so much more real. You could really picture them leaving there going about their lives. The guide was friendly and informative. We just pointed to objects and she would share her knowledge. The groups are necessarily small and that just adds to the intimate, personal feel. Highly recommend.

Tijdens de stadswandeling hier naar binnen. Je moet bellen om naar binnen te komen. Het is erg klein maar je mag alles vragen en bekijken. Twee kleine ruimtes. Vijf euro per persoon is aan de dure kant. Maar gezien de ouderdom van alle spullen ook wel logisch.

If you are looking for information that is in the Leiden archives, all baptism, marriage, and burial records are accessible online at the site of the archives, now calling itself Erfgoed Leiden en Omstreken. Search for: Erfgoed Leiden en Omstreken, personen." In the category "personen" you can seach by surname ("achternaam") or first naam ("voornaam"). You will have to try variant spellings separately, as the computer does not bundle them for you. I attempted to provide a link, but Trip Advisor's automatic response is "Sorry, questions may not include HTML or website links. Please edit your answer."
Other than that, I am unable to hep you with this sort of research.
