‪We travel 2-3 times per year.
The service is brilliant, we were assisted by Charles - on both outbound and inbound- we booked the side club suite returning to the UK which is better than the State room as you can walk right round the bed and there is a separate lounge and bed room area.

Everything where is clean and tidy

The food in the Brasserie good along with reasonably priced wine.

Charles is a credit to the crew!!

A walk round bed a real benefit‬

‪Nice cabin. Plenty of space. A bit expensive drinks and food but you also had the option to buy sandwiches or pizza. Great live music.‬

‪Just traveled on an Amsterdam mini cruise. Ferry is great but the P&O genius’s have decided that the bus company chooses where to stop. This means it’s customer’s have a 20 minute plus walk to the city centre. On returning there are no cafes or bars nearby to wait - only a subway which kindly lets people use its toilet.
Don’t do it - fly and get the train in. Not much more expensive but a much better experience‬

‪Run the ferries on time. Give passengers at the terminal information on delays. The food on board needs upgrading. The ferries need cleaning. So very disappointed the ferry was over 2 hours late no information updates, once on board no decent food I had a half cooked salty bacon roll inedible. The girl on the reception desk could not speak English so she was unable to tell us if our return ferry would be running. Both ferries were dirty. Will not be going on P&O again. Been many times in the past was always ok not anymore‬

‪We upgraded to the club cabin which was really nice including a drinks and snacks and a double bed . The staff were really polite and helpful at all times, but most of all I like to thank the chef on the Pride of Hull who went out of his way to put a large vegan salad together for me . ‬

‪This time we paid extra for a upgraded cabin which offers much more very spacious cabin with a double bed mini bar Tv wardrobe much bigger bathroom with full size shower .‬

‪Just returned from a mini break in Amsterdam and we were really impressed with the ferry. We had a club class suite, as there was 5 of us. It was really spacious, a double bed and 3 bunks, television, tea and coffee making facilities and a full mini bar, which was all complimentary. The room and en-suite bathroom was incredibly clean, we were very impressed. We enjoyed a few drinks in the Irish Bar and in the Skylounge, which we really enjoyed sitting in, it was very relaxed and comfortable, with a very relaxed vibe. We had a terrible crossing going to Rotterdam, we’re were caught in Storm Dennis, but, we arrived safely. I would recommend using the safety belts provided on the top bunks, I felt more comfortable knowing that the kids were strapped in. Coming home was much calmer, we ate in The Kitchen, which was an all you can eat buffet, there was lots of options to choose from and it was really tasty and great value for money....especially when you have 3 teenagers to feed! Every member of staff makes you feel so special, they’re incredibly polite and helpful. The ship had 2 cinema screens, so the kids went to watch a couple of films, while we had a few quiet drinks in the skylounge, which was great! Can’t fault these ferry journeys, you take your chances with the weather, some people will complain if the crossing was awful, but, they would complain even more if their journey was cancelled because of the poor weather. It’s not P&O‘s fault, blame Mother Nature, don’t let this put you off this form of travel. We’ve been to Zebrugge and Rotterdam now with P&O and would thoroughly recommend travelling with them.‬

‪Just settled back home from the mini cruise to Amsterdam from Hull. I can categorically say I’ll never travel by ferry ever again.

We’d booked the standard twin bunk room which was small, but cheap so didn’t mind that aspect, however, we felt like splashing out for the outbound trip as we wanted to be rested for the day in Amsterdam, so we upgraded to the Club cabin with more space, bigger bed, tea and coffee facilities and the mini bar and snacks. Plus it has British plug sockets unlike the standard cabins. £50 extra it cost at reception.

Anyway, we retired to bed at around 1am after the bar closed, we were quite merry and soon fell asleep. At 3.30am I was awoken by the movement from the choppy sea, which is understandable, but what kept me awake was the entire interior walls of the cabin creaking, rattling and banging, right beside your ears with no escape from it. I lay there for an hour with no way of sleeping, so much so I left the cabin and went back to the original cabin which was held for the return journey - the walls in there were fine with only slight noise and I finally fell asleep.

Just remember this for when you’re upgrading to a more comfortable room, like they state in the elevators, by upgrading you’ll be even better rested. Which in fact is wrong, you’ll be up most of the night wondering how you’re going to get through the next day on a couple of hours sleep.

The return journey was probably worse for the roughness, bouncing up and down on the bed, but surprising fell asleep, because the noise level was minimal in the cheap and cheerful cabin.

Other than that: all was fine. The food in the kitchen is expensive and not very good to be honest. Drinks reasonably priced at £4.20 a pint. Don’t bother paying for WiFi, it’s dire. ‬
