‪Fun sightseeing experience on a bike‬

‪We explored a lot of unique places, saw street art, visited gardens and stopped at a great bakery. Fun to see some of the quiet parts of Ghent.‬

‪Deze fietstour is een echte aanrader! ‬

‪Deze fietstour is een echte aanrader. Tim is een zeer sympathieke gids die je naar plekken in Gent brengt waar je anders zelf echt niet komt. De tour duurt een uur of 3 maar vliegt om en halverwege kom je op een heel leuke plek om een echt Gents gebrouwen biertje te drinken. Tim weet veel te vertellen en de fietsen zijn in goede staat. Kortom: een aanrader als je naar Gent gaat en veel in een korte tijd wilt zien en als je veel over Gent en de geschiedenis te weten wilt komen. ‬

‪Die Tour war spannend, witzig, ausgewogen, kurzweilig. Tim ist ein sehr, sehr freundlicher, begeisterter Guide, der uns auch an Orte abseits der typischen Tourispots gebracht hat und seine Stadt bemerkenswert gut kennt. Tolles Erlebnis! Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Wa‬

‪Fabulous - saw lots of Ghent with a fabulous knowledgeable guide.

Did the tour yesterday with my husband and daughter - was a little concerned when we arrived as it was quite a large group and mostly Dutch speakers ( we are English,) but there was no need to worry. The guide confidently ran the tour in both languages, giving each group time to look around while she spoke to the others. Cycling was easy in this cycle friendly city and we saw loads of places we wouldn't have seen ourselves and learnt loads of stories about the city. Highly recommended - even by the other 2 who after 2 previous day's on bikes, were not keen to be back on the saddle again . Oh and the bikes were really good quality too‬

‪Veel interessante plaatsen gezien tijdens deze fietstour..‬

‪Afgelopen vrijdag deelgenomen aan een fietstocht met bezoek aan interessante plaatsen net buiten het historisch centrum van Gent We hadden geboekt via Baya Bikes maar de tour werd uitgevoerd door City Cycling Gent met als Gids Tim. We waren met een leuke groep van 10 personen en hebben heel veel mooie plekjes gezien. Onder andere twee begijnhoven, Dok Noord, diverse mooie Graffiti gezien en andere plaatsen die je niet zomaar vind of bezoekt. Hij vertelde veel over de geschiedenis van Gent op een leuke en enthousiaste manier.
Als tip had Tim om de oude ruine van de st. Baafsabdij te bezoeken met de oudste overgebleven muren van Gent. En dat was ongelofelijk mooi daar.‬

‪Great way to get an extensive overview and history of the City of Gent!‬

‪Excellent tour with knowledgeable guide who showed flexibility to adapt the tour to everyone!
Good overview of history of Gent as a town covering the different districts of Gent. The tour doesn’t cover the typical aspects of the city ( cathedral, market place,…..)‬

‪Leuke fietstour met de highlights buiten het centrum‬

‪Afgelopen vrijdag een leuke fietstour gedaan met Janne! Ze had interessante weetjes over de stad en had een prettig tempo tijdens de tour. Ze vertelde niet te veel, maar zeker ook niet te weinig. Op de helft van de tour hadden we nog een fijne stop en konden we genieten van een Gents biertje. Absoluut een aanrader om te doen, zodat je ook de mooie plekken buiten het centrum ziet.‬
