Lovely waterfall, very picturesque! Me and my wife took some lovely photos together. Such a beautiful beach.

Beautiful beach with a wonderful waterfall - make sure you check tide times so that you can walk across to see the waterfall

The reviews for this place and the waterfall in particular made us keen to visit. We didn't have the greatest experience.
The plus points:
The beach is beautiful, fine sand, a bit of shingle and the pebbles are large enough not to dig in your feet and widely spaced out. There are rocks with rock pools to keep many entertained.
The negative points:
The beach car park is up 300 very very steep steps which do not appear to be maintained to any degree so were covered with moss and leaves making them slippery. There were intermittent handrails, but were at a height too short for adults and too high for children, so pretty pointless.
We went on a Wednesday the week after the schools went back - and NO facilities were open, no beach hut, no refreshments, nothing. Just toilets which weren't that bad - probably because not many people around.
We went to the Ship Inn which I will write a separate review of, but we couldn't get any refreshments there.
The 'spectacular waterfall' is just a very small stream emptying onto the beach, absolutely nothing amazing or special about it.
So - if you want a quiet beach with no facilities, you like to hike up/down steep hillsides for your day out, to get away from it all - then this is the place for you.

Perfect for teens who want to explore or swim. Parking is an informal arrangement on a grassy field with a £2 honesty box at the entrance. Get there before 12 in high season for a spot. Food-wise there’s a simple cabin with the hardest working man in Tresaith single-handedly feeding the whole beach with chips and sarnies. There’s a small shop with limited snacks and ice cream, more beach items than food/drink plus a small bar on the beach.
Sand is soft, sea is shallow and perfect for small children. Dogs to the right only (which is the direction of the waterfall. Wait till the tide is out to reach it easily.

Lovely beach but too many dogs. Dogs allowed on the right side of beach which is the better side and this is also where the swimming area is too. So can’t avoid them. No good if you have an allergy or fear of dogsShame on you cardigan council

A lovely beach with lifeguards and food nearby. But if it is not beach weather (being Wales n all) then go left or right, north or south on the coastal paths for an amazing walk. Wales is equally spectacular in the wet weather.
But stay safe, the walk is over cliffs , smallish paths at times and up and down!

This is a lovely beach with soft sand and a generally gentle slope into the sea. There are pebbles/shale sections but they are small, smooth and easy to walk on. When the tide is out there are some lovely rock pools for the little ones (and not so little ones) to explore. There are lifeguards present and toilets, a cafe and a pub are just off the beach. Dogs are permitted to the righthand side as you walk onto the beach and the lefthand side is supposedly dog free but, as is all too common, selfish people ignore the signs and let their dogs run everywhere allowing them to do what dogs do. Parking near the beach is very restricted but there is a small car park 300m above the beach. It is quite a steep climb down by steps or you can use the road if you have a buggy/pushchair etc

Great beach, dog friendly, not much

Walked from near Llangrannog along the coastal path to visit Tresaith beach ( and had to walk back) ….our knees have nearly recovered. When people said steep we didn’t realise quite HOW steep! Well worth the visit however (even if you need to nip into the Ship Inn for rest and recovery) We were disappointed not to see the waterfall - until we spotted people emerging from just round the bay - so explored further and saw it cascading down, so very glad we did as it is impressive. Not sure how you would get here in high season as parking even in April was a nightmare!

A lovely little beach with some rocks to the side and a waterfall. In the summer there is a shop and cafe. A nice pub with restaurant just a few metres away. The waterfall itself is worth a visit. Parking is a challenge though.
