We parked at the Benarty Bay Car Park which can be accessed off the B996 on to Benarty Road (a little tricky to spot the turning but a good start point). From the car park it is a nice walk through woodland before starting the main ascent which starts off with impressive rock steps . After a relatively short walk you get to the first view point looking back down over Lochore Meadows Country Park. There are a few options but the most direct route is straight ahead and takes you up to the original summit but you will see the trig point a bit further on. At the top, jump over the fence (there is a stile) and you are rewarded with amazing views over Lock Leven. You can then take the same route back or we went through bracken/fields ( a bit overgrown but still a visible pathway) to get you back to the car park. All in all around a 2 - 3 hour walk depending on your speed. It didn't feel too challenging so suitable for most without feeling like you have clambered up Mount Everest. As said, the views from the top are worth the effort.

After the initial short but steep climb up the steps, the views start to open out back across Loch Ore. Take it slow and steady and you'll be rewarded with fantastic views from the trig point on the top. On a clear day you'll see for miles.

There is a small car park just as you come out from Ballingary, right at the foot of the steps, which holds around 8 cars if theyre all parked right. The steps up is the most difficult part so just take your time and enjoy the views. Starting off through woodland then up through a gate and into Heather. It's a simple walk which took me 58 minutes in total on Strava- not including my stopping time. Path is obvious and you won't get lost. The first stone you come to isn't the summit, more like a resting spot to take a seat. Continue for another 10 minutes past it on the only path available and reach the summit for views of loch leven

A little hill, with varied terrain, with paths, woodland, some steep parts and some fab views. Worth a wander up.

On a clear day it's an easy gentle hike through rolling grassy hills populated with cows and sheep. From the top the view is splendid.

lovely refreshing walk views to die for. over loch leven and a few deer to see . also the look over lochore country park. you can also take in the leven castle. great day out make sure you are warm.

Found the steps pretty steep but once past them things got a lot easier, the views from the top were amazing

Nach einem Tipp auf Instagram hsb wir beschlossen, hier eine kleine Wanderung für's Nachmittagspicknick zu machen.
Der Parkplatz war klein, aber da kaum etwas los war, konnten wir das Auto gut parken.
Dann ging es die Treppen bergauf. Weiter oben war der Weg dsnn für ca. 150 m etwas beschwerlicher wegen Baumfällarbeiten. Dandch ging es ober Wiesen zum Gipfel. Eine wunderschöne Aussicht belohnte uns. Das Picknick hat uns dann auch noch geschmeckt und nach anderthalb Stunden waren wir wieder am Auto.
Tolle, kleine Tour für zwischendurch!

Lovely easy going steps and path from the road lay by thru the forest to the stone dyke. Path on the other side of the dyke to the summit. Enjoy the views in all directions.
