We visited this bar this on Saturday evening and our first impressions were of a lovely family friendly bar with warm and welcoming staff, unfortunately there were a few older people spending their evening there who clearly did not like young children around them, one woman (approx 60 years of age, should be ashamed of herself) actually pushed our friends 3 year old son off the chair for the simple reason that he wanted to sit next to her, another (whom I won't call a gentleman) actually gave the kicking motion after our friends 3 year old son was removed by the blonde owner from the bar area, this "after" our friends were actually encouraged by the blonde owner to let him go downstairs to play in the childrens play area, our friends were more than happy for their son to sit in his buggy until the blonde owner encouraged them to let him play within the play area...
This same man who produced the kicking motion was hugged by the blonde owner when he left, nothing like condoning poor behaviour 👎. It has to be said that the male owner was friendly and extremely polite and courteous throughout and actually apologised to our friends before we left....

We dound this bar whilst heading up to the top end of the strip.
We were welcomed in immediately and entertained by the singers.
After a couple of the best Mojitos had during our whole holiday we even took part and sang a couple of songs.
Nice family friendly bar away from the madness of the strip. Stayed there until late and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Rude staff.. Would not let us sing unless everyone brought a drink... Even the children! You can not force children to have a drink! Further more I think if we had had the chance to sing, then we would of brought a lot more drinks... Left with 3 upset children.. Very rude owner... Lady with blonde hair.

Brilliant family pub with amazing owners who make you feel so welcome on every visit. Knut was amazing young man with many talents running the pub, singing and being just a perfect host. Gry who was the host of the karaoke was brilliant and made everyone feel just as special going up for a song. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Jon, Jackie and Joshua. xx

Sou cliente frequente deste bar de karaoke. Gosto bastante do ambiente familiar e da simpatia do staff. Sinto-me sempre bem recebida. Bebidas bastante boas e bem confecionadas. Preços mais acessíveis que os dos restantes bares. Animação sempre garantida, só é pena ter poucas músicas portuguesas.

This has been my favourite karaoke bar in Albufeira for the best part of ten years, so it makes me very sad to think that over the next few months that Gry and Paulo won't be their running it. For a very sad and personal reason they are having now to sell the bar and I just want to use this opportunity to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making our holidays in Portugal happy and fun.
Over the years we have met a great group of people who quite by coincidence have returned around the same time in the resort as we do, we have all enjoyed singing the night away at the Absolbar, Paulo and Gry are the perfect hosts. The bar is relaxed atmosphere because people who are overly drunk are not served by Paulo, it's what we love about the bar, their are plenty of bars on the strip who will let you drink till you drop this isn't one of them, of course we all have a good few drinks but it's always a really friendly bunch of people who frequent the bar, it's is very family friendly with a downstairs play area with pool table, game consoles etc. Drinks are very reasonably priced, not being a cocktail drinker myself I am reliably informed the cocktails are the real deal, made expertly by Paulo who has a huge selection of silverware he has won in various competitions for his Mixology skills, this skill has now been passed down to his son Kanoute who has been taught at the feet of the master! Gry hosts the karaoke and is a wonderful singer their is an excellent choice of songs covering the generations and in different languages too.
Our hope is that whoever buys the bar keeps the spirit of the bar, that the clientele remains the same and we can continue to enjoy ourselves amongst good holiday friends next year.
We recommend a visit to the Absolbar for all the above reasons.
To Gry, Paulo, Kanoute and the late Patrick (RIP X) we want to say " thank you for the music, for all the songs we have sung and the joy it's has brung to everybody " we shall miss you all 😢 but we wish you well in your new life in Norway take care dear friends, good luck we shall really miss you. XXX

Great owners who interact with customers, make children feel very welcome and also a lovely downstairs games fun room for the kids. Cheap drinks n food and also karaoke on offer to those who wish to sing.

Muito bom ambiente, acolhedor e família.
Serviço e apresentação muito bom.

love this bar very friendly family run bar.
kids area downstairs with no exit areas so it's safe. Definitely must visit if your in the area. If you do you will return.

Bebidas preparadas por campeões em cocktails, serviço de muito boa qualidade, decoração muito bonita e musica sempre do melhor. Ambiente familiar. Adora la ir. Sempre que estamos de f[erias por Albufeira somos frequentadores assíduos.
