We haven’t eaten here but the setting is great for whiling away the time with a cocktail ( they have a huge selection) and people watching. The servers are great and super friendly

Harry's is a super little pub in Carveiro! We were there last week and had toasties, fries and coleslaw. The food was very good but I must mention that the homemade coleslaw was second to none! The staff, service and atmosphere were also very congenial. We intend to visit again to try the Guinness pie. Well worth a visit!

Started off ok. Suntrap, food and drink in old town. Lady waitress even joked about the weather. Food was ok. We had pizza and fries. Then we ordered a cocktail and beer. The waitress gave us the wrong one but was adamant she hadn't. She gave in but never apologized. She was rude to most people and clearly did not want to be there.
Toilets were disgusting and the bar itself must have had over a hundred flies buzzing around. Imagine what it will be like in the height of summer! They clearly thought out of season meant they could treat people poorly. Avoid unless you have nowhere else to go.

So anyone who has read my reviews will know I’ve reviewed this place before in 2016 I believe. Returned here as we are passing through for two nights and being January there’s not much else open due to seasonal hours. It’s not changed, the service is non existent, staff come across rude, don’t say much. Don’t dare move a table they must be kept on a slant or you’re in trouble. Passive smokers paradise. Oh but it’s a sun trap

We stopped off here for breakfast. It was quite a sun trap. We opted for 2 full English breakfasts with coffee and orange juice, which was the best I’ve had as it was freshly squeezed oranges.
Breakfast was very nice and a decent portion. Staff were friendly and attentive.
We popped in on a night time too for a drink as it is situated in the old town square and there was a stage in front where various acts performed for Christmas.

Bland and tasteless small piece of fish wrapped in what I believe was meant to be batter. It was brown rather than the golden colour you would expect. Portion of chips was small. Service was reasonable. Staff were polite and friendly.
The place was busy so it may be that the fish and chips are just not what you would expect.

Ambiance du feu de Dieu le personnel est très sympathique et les musiciens sont au top les cocktails sont très bon et bien servis

I'm guessing yes. We were there in Feb and Mar, so Jan should be no different. The music we experienced was in the square, in the afternoon. But, Sir Harry's patio is definitely front row for that. They may also do music in the pub at night, not sure.

never been them months but I have looked back on TripAdvisor and there are lots of TripAdvisor reviews for February and March so I am assuming it's open all year around.
Great pub and superb Old Town,hope this helps mate and enjoy your holiday.

What a fantastic place. My husband an I were there too celebrate his 50th birthday. OMG the young guy singing was amazing. He made my husband's birthday fantastic. If anyone knows how I can get a CD off him let me k ow please!!!
