We had a three-day private tour arranged by Portugal by Wine. Throughout, our driver and guide Gabriel was wonderful! He was a careful and thoughtful driver. We could see he cleaned the car overnight, too. He communicated clearly, taught us about the Douro valley and Porto, gave us great suggestions and accommodated when we needed rest stops, etc. Highly commended. Other highlights included the massage and lunch at Quinta da Pacheca, followed by the private boat trip on the Douro, the tour and tasting at Quinta da Gricha, the Port Wine Workshop at Caves Ferreira, and the service / views from Chef Rui Paula's DOC restaurant and Vinum in Porto. We appreciated, too, our stay and meals at Vila Galé Douro.
Portugal by Wine organized the trip well – to our tastes and needs. We felt that it was a luxurious tour from booking to the drop off at the end. We enjoyed a variety of amazing food, wine, views, and experiences throughout. Thanks so much!

We visited the farm, the garden and the cellars. At the end of the visit we had a tasting of the property's wines and muscat. The guide was extremely friendly, telling the history of the property in a pleasant way that didn't sound like a history lesson.

It was an excellent visit, Mr. Gonçalo was very friendly and explained a lot of things we didn't know. I definitely recommend wine tasting ☺️

We had a fantastic experience touring with Oporto Sensations! Our guide, Bruno, was professional, polite, entertaining and shared a wealth of knowledge about the Duoro Valley. We were traveling with our infant son, and he was treated like another valued member of the tour group. We sampled a variety of wine and ports, but I appreciated that this tour offered an assortment of activities for those who might not drink. If you are on the fence, book!

The winery and its staff were excellent. They were expecting us, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly, the tour was interesting, the wines delicious, and best of all the picnic in the vineyard was well thought-out, carefully executed, and delicious! A must-do experience for anyone visiting south-central Portugal!

A beautiful tour picking all types of grapes from the vineyards.
When we finally arrived at the tasting place, a very cool ricon on the edge of a pond with all the vines in the background and a spectacular snack with homemade products made by themselves such as cod fritters, jam......
We left very happy and full of wine.
Tell our guide that it is charming and that we will keep it in our memories

We booked the experience of Winemaker for a Day with Portugal by Wine, and thoroughly enjoyed it! From the tour of the winery to the walk up into the vineyard and iconic windmill to the wine tasting and rich stories of the grape varietals to actually making our own blends and then having a lovely light meal, it was extremely well designed and fascinating. Will definitely return!

The wines were good and the staff were friendly, but having all the wines served at the same time, including whites that heat up quickly... is not the best experience.
Given the price, it seems to me that there are better alternatives, or at least with a more differentiated service.
