Really good golf course with an excellent variety of holes. Challenging but fair. The reason for the lower rating is the lack of buggies. The course is hilly and well spread out. The walk from the 1st green to 2nd tee must be half a mile. We asked for 2 buggies on our arrival to be asked did we book them. When we said no, we were told their were none available. Only pull trollies were available. When we collected them, the man at the buggy store advised the course only has 33 buggies and there were 160 people playing that day. Surely a course of this standing should have more than one third of a full day’s play of available buggies. Very disappointed in this. Take note.

Another great course - enough tees to suit all levels - some fabulous views over the sea on lots of holes, and if the wind is blowing you'll need plenty of club. Greens are slick and the locals friendly. Be careful when you choose your accomodation - shuttle buses can be very busy especially if there's a society going out in front of you.

The course, while wet, was in excellent condition. The round did take over 4 hours, but we were not held up, nor did we hold up anyone. Very enjoyable and worth a visit.

Hotel muy tranquilo con SPA y piscinas interiores y exteriores. La habitación un Lujazo con unas vistas preciosas desde el cuarto de baño y la cama de lo mejor que he probado. Restaurante normalito y del desayuno esperaba algo más.

It’s a great course in good condition. Lots of variety in the holes. It’s a great test. Rating is 3 because of the slowness of the round. 4hours 55mins. We had to wait on every tee. Back nine we waited to play every shot. Course Marshall wasn’t interested in the fact 4 balls were holding up a 2 ball and a 3 ball. He didnt seem to grasp that if you are holding up players behind you they should be let through. Hugely frustrating. On a par 5 there were 4 groups on the hole at one point!

A fantastic course in great condition but poorly marshalled . The distances between green and tee make it really not a course to walk because the distances add over an hour to your round . We got caught behind a walking group yesterday and it took us nearly 6 hours to play a 4 ball . They were poor golfers playing a difficult course so you can guess what we experienced . There was no marshal to intervene and no information on golf etiquette provided by the starter . Needs to improve

Zoals je kan lezen kom ik hier al vele jaren, woon in de buurt en het was er altijd prima toeven. Echter het nieuwe management jaagt je er wel weg. Ik was vele jaren een zogenaamd e-member. Men heeft dat lidmaatschap niet meer beschikbaar, dus je voordeel om trouw te blijven verdwijnt dan een beetje. Je loyaliteit word ook niet meer beloond met een voordelige prijs maar dat terzijde. In alle gevallen belde ik kort tevoren naar de baan en regelde ik een starttijd, kreeg de prijs door en boekte ik een buggy, nooit een probleem. Op 2 januari weer gebeld, kreeg geen speciale prijs, kosten waren 75 pp, maar als ik dat via de website kon regelen, dan werd het 45 euro. Verontwaardigd omdat dit in al die jaren nooit gevraagd werd, hing ik op. Omdat ik een lange trip in de auto maakte kon ik 's avonds pas het internet op en wat schetst mijn verbazing de website functioneerde niet, ook de dagen daarna niet. Heb een reactie via FB messenger geschreven, waarop ik tot op heden geen antwoord heb gekregen. Zeer droevig om zo met loyale klanten om te gaan en ik heb de afgelopen periode kennis gekregen van andere leden en ex-leden dat er langzaam een leegloop aan de gang is. We kunnen immers uitwijken naar Bom Sucesso Golf, West Cliff Golf Course en Praia D'Ell Rey Golf course. Allen met eenzelfde schoonheid en een veel hoger hospitality level.

As much as I enjoyed playing this course I have to say as a lady golfer off 25.7 … it did beat me up somewhat! Not sure I would play it again! Two days later we played Bom Sucesso and I found that course was much more to my liking…..

The golf course is beautiful and well kept. The staff showed amazing customer service. I contacted them for information and they answered all of my questions. They were very professional and super helpful. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. We also ate at the clubhouse and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this golf course. We will definitely be back!

Yes you can hire clubs ladies and men’s.
All day rate, I assume is the question 🤔🤔
This is a very difficult course with a huge slope, so I would suggest 18 holes would be sufficient but I am pretty sure you could book a double round.
