We had such a lovely time on our tour with Alex. He was very friendly and courteous, and quite knowledgeable about the area. His energy throughout the entire tour was remarkable, and definitely brought an added excitement. The flexibility in adapting the schedule and order of our visits to the various stops was very appreciated, and it was great to have a degree of control over what we saw and when. A specific highlight was visiting multiple points not often visited by tourists, where we were able to see unique views without crowds, as well as enjoy a delicious meal in a small town – another benefit of a local guide. One thing to note is that a large part of this tour involves spending extended periods of time in the open back of a Jeep which, while not uncomfortable, did leave some of us sore at the end of the day. Overall, if you are looking for a combination of self-guided museum visits and narrated driving tours to see a lot of what Sintra has to offer in a single day, this is a good way to do it.

Paul "Jahle" was a great guide and we really had an enjoyable time with him. We really enjoyed the bikes and then the 4x4 ride out and about the countryside was really fun. The only thing that could be better is if the 4x4s had music, but that could just be me.

Paolo will give you the most authentic experience in the Sintra area! As a native, we got to appreciate the area through his eyes and it was so much fun! He took us for authentic local Portuguese food, a beautiful local beach, and to the recommended sites. We packed in a lot of activities and definitely got our money's worth while feeling super relaxed and not rushed. Paolo will do everything he can to make your trip memorable and enjoyable!

Shout out to our guide Paulo! He really loved his job and was so enthusiastic about showing us around Sintra and telling us about his home. The Jeep experience was definitely worth the time and Euros. The Jeep itself was so much fun to ride in and I felt like the group environment really added to the excursion.

Excelente tour privado realizado desde Lisboa a Sintra y Cascais realizado hoy 29 de Marzo de 2023. Todo muy bien organizado desde la recogida en la puerta de nuestro hotel por parte de nuestro guia Tomas Silva. Gracias a su buen hacer y amabilidad el resultado del tour fue mejor de lo esoerado. Experiencia muy recomendable.

No se puede pedir más. Nuestro guía (Alex) muy simpático e hizo el tour super ameno. La cercanía que demostró hizo que pareciera uno más de la familia.

This tour was an unbelievable value and was the best day of the ten that we spent in Portugal. 100% of the credit goes to our tour guide, Paulo. Paulo provided us with amazing views, many of them off the beaten path. Paulo knew when to tell us all about the history of the area, when to show us the fun and excitement of Sintra (no words needed), and when to turn us loose to explore on our own. I am recommending this tour and this tour guide to everyone I know that goes to Portugal. Book this trip, and I guarantee you will be so happy that you did. Thanks again Paulo!!
(P.S.) If you want an exhilirating experience, ask Paulo to take the jeep and do some off-roading. Most fun I have had all year!

We used Tomas Silva as our guide to Sintra Historical places. He was truly amazing!
Tomas was very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. He gave us tips to go to others places after our tour with him was over. I would definitely recommend Tomas for your next guided tour experience!

We debated planning our own trip to Sintra using public transport and we are so happy we booked through this group! We met Alex and Tomas at our door step right on time and they kept us busy and very interested all through the day. I highly recommend booking a tour with this group!

My family of four also had a van and guide just email them and ask they are very quick to respond. I would highly recommend Tomas, he lives in Sintra and knows the area very well which saved us so much time he has a pass that gets you front of the line to buy tickets. He is very friendly and nice and has amazing knowledge of Portugal and Sintra area. Enjoy your visit Sinatra is spectacular and beautiful. Quinta de Regeleira is stunning and breathtaking!
