‪Loved the tour to Braga and Guimaraes with Tourist Affairs João‬

‪João was an excellent tour guide. He grew up in Braga area and provides tours that allows you to see the local view of the area. João speaks excellent English and i provided detailed information about Braga and Guimaraes. Has great sense of humor and made the trip wonderful. Doing a trip with João you are in excellent hands and is extremely professional and an excellent tour guide‬

‪City Tour in Braga‬

‪Since I was travelling alone, I informed myself on possible tours in the north of Portugal. I found the website "touristaffairs" online and called the guide João for more information. He directly invited me to do a walking tour in Braga the following day. João took his time to do a very informative tour for me alone. The informations were great to understand the political and religious apects of the city and he was very precise on the architecture aspects of the buildings. At the end, he gave me some nice recommandations for eating dinner and I really appreciated it! Thank you for the nice day in Braga!‬

‪We originally met João as he was hired by our group to take us on a full day tour of Braga and two nearby cities. We instantly connected with him and appreciated his ability to cater to our interests, concerns and group dynamic. My partner and I stayed on to visit the rest of Portugal and João provided us with an abundance of recommendations and suggestions tailored to us based on meeting us for a short time. Unfortunately there was not enough time on our visit to see every site and eat at every restaurant and drink every wine he suggested, but we will have to return because every suggestion of his that we were able to see/do/eat/drink was FANTASTIC. João feels more like a friend than a guide which is exactly the way to experience a new place. We hope to be back and will definitely call on him again when we are! ‬

‪Excellent, Free Walking Tour of Braga‬

‪This is the best walking tour I have taken. Our guide was extremely informative. More importantly, his genuine love of his city was apparent and by the end of the tour, we loved Braga as well. We do not have photos because we were more interested in the information he had to share than wandering out of earshot to take photos. He had a humorous way of getting and holding our attention and, lucky for us, those on the tour were all good listeners. His English was excellent, which we appreciated, but understand there are multi-lingual tour guides to assist all nationalities. Thank you to the City of Braga. What a wonderful service. Nancy‬

‪Private tour for group of 10 - Excellent!‬

‪We had booked a private tour for our group of 10 people and were delighted to an informative day exploring Barcelos, Braga, and Pointe de Lima. We ate lunch at a restaurant recommended by the guide, it was delicious. I look forward to returning to Portugal and booking another tour with The Tourist Affairs. I highly recommend booking with them.‬

‪This was such an amazing tour! Our group got lots of time to explore and the Joao was very informative! This is a must if you want to learn about the history of Portugal and get a real inside story about the country. Two thumbs up!‬

‪Excellent Tour!‬

‪Joao, who has spent his whole life in the Braga area and speaks excellent English took our group of 13 people to what I gather are the three can't-miss sites in the area: the amazing market in Barcelos, the beautiful walled city of Ponte de Lima, Bom, and the breathtaking Jesus do Monte in Braga. The pace and length of each visit was just right, and Joao's insights were informative and interesting, but not overwhelming. I highly recommend this tour.‬

‪Gran tour‬

‪Fuimos un grupo de 13 estudiantes y Joao fue nuestro guía. Consiguió que el tour tuviese todo lo que uno querría, con una actitud buenísima, muy receptivo y cercano, haciendo que todo el mundo se sintiese cómodo. El recorrido estaba muy bien planeado, permitiéndonos ver Braga de un modo muy bonito, planteado desde un punto de vista histórico y arquitectónico, incluyendo recomendaciones de sitios donde comer o tomar algo (muy acertados por cierto). El tour fue muy ameno en todo momento, incluso con el calor, y sin duda una de las experiencias en Braga a recomendar. No habríamos visto Braga como la ciudad que es sin Joao!‬
