We selected a day trip to Delphi. Everyone in our family, consisting of 4 adults with very different tastes, loved our tour. Our driver went beyond friendly and engaging to make us feel as a part of his family. He offered to stop for coffee or ice cream along the way - we took him up on the latter and he was so unnecessarily kind as to pay for the treats. He was very responsive in adapting to our pace, adjusting our itinerary as needed. After visiting Delphi and the museum, we had a wonderful lunch with seats providing a fantastic view of the area. He also gave us some terrific recommendations for dinner and things to do.

We were a family of 7 (all adults) on a holiday to Greece so decided to book a private mini bus tour to Athens and had a list of places we wished to include in the itinerary.
Firstly a special thank you to Maria from Fotis Kolliris as she helped arrange and deal with our requests prior to the trip and kept us up-to-date with arrangements/additional recommendations.
Maria, changed our our pick-up time (the day before) to be moved earlier to give us time to visit the Acropolis first as all the outdoor historical places would be closed by midday due to the heat - this was great as we were finished by 10am and heading off to the museum afterwards which was perfect.
The mini-bus was comfortable, great air con and we all loved the added touch of cold water being provided as and when we needed it.
Another special thanks to Chris (our driver and guide) and Anna (Acropolis and Acropolis museum guide) who were both clear, engaging and knowledgeable. In addition, Anna went above and beyond on her knowledge, sharing lots of information that we hadn't expected but was equally interesting and engaging.
Our tour was personalised to what we wanted to see but with the addition of a great lunch at a family taverna for lunch (this was not included in the cost but the price was very reasonable).
I would definitely recommend booking through Fotis Kolliris for your private tour to Athens.

We used Athens Private Tours for transfers to and from the airport and the cruise terminal. They are very accommodating, reliable and professional. Our incoming flight was 3 hrs late and we were picked up by the owner, Fotis who gave us so much useful information. His nephew, Chris took us to see all the attractions in Athens. For someone who is not a tour guide he was very knowledgeable. Chris took us to this wonderful spot for simple gyros that was probably the best meal we had in Greece. Maria was the point of contact via email. She was so helpful and responsive. It might be a little less expensive to use public transportation and tour Athens in your own, but their prices are reasonable and the time and stress they save make it worth a few extra euro.

We had Chris as our private driver for a tour around Athens and it was an incredible experience. He was so knowledgeable and kind and we had such a good day seeing all the historic sites of Athens. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Still the same fabulous service and family feel with Athens private tours! We used the same tour service 9 years ago and yes is was too long in between visit to beautiful Athens. They are are same family owned and operated! Longevity means quality service. They arranged everything, transfers from the cruise ship to the hotel, to the attractions, to the airport. They do it all which made it so easy on us. Their recommendations for place to eat was spot on. We weren’t rushed and visited many very cool places. The staff was exceptional! The company’s mantra is giving the best possible experience at a fair price. They are honest and very competitive in pricing. I honestly can’t say enough. 9 years later, the quality and professionalism is still top notch. P.s. the can handle groups and they provide tours all around Greece 🇬🇷. Feel confident that you will be well cared for.

Fotis was a great guide! Very helpful in seeing many sites in Athens, very knowledgeable about the city -- and took us to a great local lunch spot. Highly recommend this tour company!

In 2012 my husband and I enjoyed a trip to Greece and booked several transfers and tours with Fotis Kolliris. He provided us with superb service then and became a friend! We concluded our review of that trip like this, “If we get back to Athens, there is no question that we will meet with our friend Fotis!” Alas, Fotis retired, but his company is still going strong in the hands of his family. And the good news is that we did in fact “meet with our friend Fotis!” His nephew Andreas was our driver and, on the way to Meteora (highly recommended), we stopped for a visit and some Greek coffee with Fotis. It was one of the highlights of our trip to see this wonderful man again.
But you may not care about our friendship with Fotis and this review will tell you that his company is in capable hands. We made initial contact with his daughter Maria to arrange our tours and transfers. Just like the old days, she responded quickly. If fact, whenever we sent an email, we got a response almost immediately. This really helps in planning trips. Our driver Andreas was also excellent in the mold of his uncle Fotis. This is not a tour service per se, but rather provides private transportation to and from sites in Greece. Nevertheless, just like Fotis, Andreas briefed us on the upcoming sites and prepared us for our excursions. He made dining suggestions and was especially helpful in making sure we got the best sunset views in Meteora. This was despite the fact that MANY other people wanted the same views. He would drop us off and find us when we finished our viewing. He even loaned us his cell phone so we could contact him on his other phone when we finished visiting some sites.
On another day, Andreas learned of our interest in wines and tried mightily to arrange a winery visit for us. Unfortunately, it was harvest time and no one could fit us in. Still, it was nice of him to attempt to broaden our visit from what we had originally planned.
The importance of having a good and knowledgeable local driver became obvious when a sudden transit strike and a heavy rainstorm both hit Athens on the day we were returning from Meteora, causing a massive traffic tie up. If we had rented a car and tried to tackle the streets on our own, we would still be circling the ring road. Andreas used back routes and eventually got us to hotel.
This whole operation is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. And If we get back to Athens, there is no question that we will meet with our friends Fotis and Andreas!

We booked and rebooked our trip to Greece three times due to COVID and each time Ilianna and Maria were so helpful with choosing our tours and transfers with their very prompt and cheery emails. We booked a total of four airport/hotel transfers during our stay in Greece and each time Andreas was there on time to meet us and chauffeur us to the airport or hotel. He was full of information and special insights into Athens and Greece. He even stopped at a local phone shop to help us purchase a SIMM card for our mobile phone.
Chris was our driver for our full-day Argolis tour in the Peloponnese and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. He was very knowledgeable and timed our many stops perfectly including lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Nafplio.
Over all a very professional, delightful service that contributed greatly to making Greece a memorable trip for us. You come away feeling part of the family. We are already talking about returning to tour Meteora and Delphi with them.
Chris was our driver for our full-day Argolis tour in the Peloponnese and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. He was very knowledgeable and timed our many stops perfectly including lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Nafplio.
Over all a very professional, delightful service that contributed greatly to making Greece a memorable trip for us. You come away feeling part of the family. We are already talking about returning to tour Meteora and Delphi with them.

We had a wonderful time. The tour was fully customizable and we got to see things we didn't even know to see, thanks to our wonderful driver.

Thank you again Fotis and family for this occasion to visit Gravia,Greece. Sentimental meaning from heart. Fotis, timely on his pick up and return to Athens to avoid holiday traffic, with patiences. Nice comfortable room in his custom van with multiple features to occupy time in passing. Very professional and takes pride in his country. Knowing Fotis for years and seeing and hearing the excitement he has/had with all patrons makes returning to use his/family service makes my decision a bit easier. With Fotis and family knowing English also is a plus to communicate with, dealing with vendors with covid restrictions that request and require QCR codes or proof of vaccination to entry restaurants and historical sites. The cleanliness and freshness you have when entering his van means he/family are providing safety within Covid-19’s guidelines. Best wishes in all future endeavors and may God bless and keep you,family and Greece safe.🤗💖🙏
