Trapperne har forskellige højder og bredder, så hav fornuftige sko på, når du bevæger dig op eller ned af denne smukke trappe.
Tag dig god tid og husk at se de smukke huse og deres detaljer.

Det er en god gåtur og ikke for folk med dårlige knæ og hofter.
Ved toppen af trappen finder du to barer, der lokker med kolde drinks :)

A very good restaurant with a great kitchen, a friendly service and a varied menu. Whether you choose to eat at a higher or lower price all the food is prepared with care and diligence and timed to perfection in it's cooking. If you can get in do not miss this one.

One of the best restaurants in all of Greece! Delicious and beautifully served food, wonderful service. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, further away from the crowds that are in the port.

Strade che chiamano a rallentare la frenesia, nel tepore del caldo estivo, camminare in queste vie ci ha fatto rilassare anche se stavamo facendo lo sforzo della salita. Paesaggi bellissimi visti dall'alto. Mangiato dell'uva direttamente dalle piante. Esperienza meravigliosa quella d'aver conosciuta questa città. La vista dalla barca quando si arriva è meravigliosa.

Ίσως το καλύτερο εστιατόριο στη Σύμης. Αξίζει να ανεβείτε τα σκαλοπάτια από το γυαλο και να φτάσετε στην Άνω Σύμη όπου βρίσκεται και το εστιατόριο.
Ότι δοκιμάσαμε ήταν εξαιρετικό, και η εξυπηρέτηση φοβερή.
Μην παραλείψετε να κλείσετε τραπέζι πριν πάτε!,,

Πρόκειται για ένα από τα καλύτερα εστιατόρια της Σύμης. Ότι δοκιμάσαμε ήταν φανταστικό. Πολύ καλή σχέση ποιότητας τιμής.

Beautiful restaurant - lovely service and very good food. We had sea bass baked in the oven and also seafood linguine - both excellent. Very pleasant evening here

There are many foot paths to the top, so get a good map. We hiked via old uneven stairs (strenuous) for most of the way, then switched to a small road.
At the top is a church and old fort in ruins. Along the way there were many old buildings in ruins. Nice 2-3 hours.

Whilst on a day trip to Symi and enjoying a drink in the sun, we looked for things to do and this came up, so we though 'why not'... and off we went!
We didn't realise how many steps there actually were, so doing it in the midday Greek heat of about 32/33 wasn't out bet idea, but once we got to the top it was so worth it. The views all around were so pretty, and you can really appreciate the wonderful colours that Symi offers - it's as picturesque as the postcards.
We're young(ish) and fit, and it took us about 30 minutes or so to get to the top, with a couple of stops in the shade, so be prepared - make sure you have some water with you, you'll need it, and comfortable shoes!

Hi everyone. Trying to locate the starting point of the steps on google maps etc but no luck. Does anyone know as to where they begin and end.

They start from the edge of the inner harbour. Walk along the harbour side from the centre on the side that has old windmills at the top of the hill. Look for the 'Kalia Strata' sign in blue on your right hand side. The steps end near the town square in Ano Symi.
