We were travelling in Iceland, and found this company when browsing on our phone. We had no means to pay for the tour online, so we sent an e-mail instead. We quickly received a reply, saying the tour was booked for us and that we could pay on site. The day itself we had issues finding the place (no internet connection) but had a few calls with the crew, who assured us they would wait. The tour itself was also great, we spotted several whales, some of them really close. Captain Ragnar and especially our ‘tour guide’ Jonathan provided a lot of information and entertainment!

Walbeobachtung mit toller Crew und vielen Buckelwalen. Fantastisches Erlebnis. Nicht zu volles Boot. Raggi ist ein erfahrener Skipper und sehr angagiert. Perfekt 👍

We have seen some dolphins and being able to see the cliffs was very nice. Our Capitan Ragnar was also very nice to us. Thank you for the trip

The tour lasted about three hours, was led by a Marine Biologist who identified all kinds of critters along the way. The guide told us what bit of land we were looking at, including some features of the area.The boat had many vantage points from two decks, with the lower deck being protected from weather. There were both seated and standing options. Friendly crew, warm coffee served.
We saw many types of birds, and a couple of humpback whales. I highly recommend this tour if you have a few hours of time to spend in the area. If you do go on this tour, bring layers of warm clothing and even rain gear, as it is colder over the water and you may encounter rain and/or sea spray.

Selv om vi desværre ikke kom afsted på turen, fordi der var for få tilmeldte, skal Amazing Westfjords have nogle rosende ord med på vejen. De foreslog et andet tidspunkt, som desværre heller ikke blev til noget pga. for få tilmeldte. De var flinke til at melde ud i god tid, så vi begge gange kunne nå at reagere. Da vi ikke kom ud at sejle, fik vi hurtigt vores indbetalte beløb refunderet. Det skal de absolut have ros for. Vi vil anbefale Amazing Westfjords, og vil gerne booke hos dem ved en evt. senere lejlighed.

Perfekte Tour mit tollem Guide, Boot war nicht ueberlaufen. Es gab Kaffee und Tee und jede Menge Buckelwale die immer wieder auf das Boot zugeschwommen sind, ab und zu zog ein Schwarm Papageientaucher vorbei

The tour was excellent, they had a marine biologist who gave a lot of information that was appropriate for the tour. The boat was comfortable, lots of places to sit and many places to have a good view of the whales. The crew did a very good job.

had a cold wet and wonderful tour, we saw plenty of whales. easy to find, nice sized boat and well worth the money.

Wonderful trip into the fjord. It was like the whales were programmed. Three swimming side by side alongside boat with another breaching in the distance. Ragnar and his crew were marvelous in spite of the inclement weather. But like Florida, if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes, it will change and mostly for the good. Marvelous Trip.

Hi we will be on an Island Princess Cruise, which will be in Isafjordur on Wednesday 29th July from 08:00 to 19:00. Would it be possible to do this tour ? Do you provide transportation to/from the ship ?

Hi, Yes, you should be able to do our tour. Be advised that it can take some time to get from your boat to shore. The walk from where the tender boats arrive to our boat is approx. 5 minutes so we do not provide transport. You can make your reservation through TripAdvisor and contact us when it gets closer to your trip if you have any more questions.
