Les gorges du loup sont accessibles d'au moins deux façons différentes. Il est possible de les rejoindre depuis le parking gratuit situé sur les hauteurs de la ville d'Echternach ou alors depuis le sentier qui commence depuis le parking gratuit situé à l'extérieur de la ville de Berdof.
Le chemin est balisé, facile d'accès excepté la partie où l'on se trouve dans la gorge à proprement parler. Il y a des escaliers assez raides et des cordes permettent de sécuriser sa descente et/ou montée.
L'endroit est tranquille, frais surtout par grosse chaleur. La vue depuis les belvédères ou autres passerelles aménagées n'est pas des plus exceptionnelle.
Une randonnée sympa à faire si vous êtes dans le coin. Depuis Echternach, prévoir 25 min pour y aller.

Très belle rando mais quelques imprécisions dans le balisage entre E1 et E4... J'ai fait un détour de 4 kms car la E1 n'était pas indiquée (en tous cas reprise sous la E4 au-dessus d'Echternach). Belles vues, très belle région, rando sportive à recommander.

Prachtige zone op de E1 wandeling, vooral het gedeelte van Echternach naar Berdorf is heel mooi waar deze wolfssclucht ligt. Heel mooie natuur.

On a fait cette randonnée en famille avec notre fils de 7ans et nous avons tous adoré. J'avoue que devant la hauteur de certains escaliers on était déconcertés mais une fois tout en haut quel bonheur de se dire on l'a fait. En plus il y a un panorama de fou et la région a installé des bancs et transats pour se reposer.

Belle boucle randonnée d'environ 15 km depuis Echternach. L'office de tourisme de la ville propose le plan du circuit "E1" qui passe par les Gorges du loup. Le premier kilomètre est en pente très raide, avec parfois des escaliers. Prévoir de bonnes chaussures de marche et beaucoup d'eau car pas de point de ravitaillement sur le parcours.

The main walk in the area that takes in the rocky gorges is defined by the tourist office as the E1 walk. We would recommend picking up the free brochure from the local tourist office which explains the route and just as important a large-scale local map which explains the starting point of the walk which could be a little tricky without explanation. It is a 13.5km circular route which starts and finishes in Echternach. There is an approximate 150m rise in elevation during the walk.
The route itself is very well signposted so it is difficult to get lost, there were just one of two points towards the end of the walk where a mobile to track the route comes in handy. It is recommended to complete the loop in a clockwise direction. The most difficult part of the walk is the first half where most of the attractions can be seen. Initially it is a stiff uphill climb before the route flattens out. This section includes spectacular rock formations, caves and viewpoints. The second half of the walk is primarily forest track and fairly flat but it is still interesting because there are steep gradients either side of the path in places. The terrain is generally good throughout although good walking shoes are recommended. We did the walk in around 4 ½ hours which includes side trip to viewing points around the rock formations plus a picnic lunch.
It is a very interesting and rewarding walk and well worth the effort to see.

We were here here with my school class, it was good and with some amazing views and rocks, sadly a many rivers were dried out but mostly it was amazing.

Tijdens de wandeling E1 klim je door deze kloof. Heeeel indrukwekkend, klimmend via treden. Ter plaatse kan je nogmaals via andere treden naar uitzichtpunten.
E1 is eveneens een prachtige wandeling.

Lorsque j'ai lu les avis, j'ai cru m'être trompée de lieu. Mais non, j'étais bien au "bon endroit". Personnellement, je n'ai pas du tout apprécié cette randonnée. Le balisage est loin d'être au top et le point de vue n'est pas transcendant.

Der E1 Wanderweg führt an allen Highlights wie Wolfsschlucht, Perekop, Labyrinth und Mühlsteinhöhle mit Amphitheater vorbei. Es ist ein ganz besonders Erlebnis diesen Weg zu laufen. Sicherlich einer der schönsten und spektakulärsten Wanderwege Europas.
