Wir hatten uns als Paar angemeldet. Am Tauchtag erfuhren wir, dass wir für den Kurs die einzigen Teilnehmer waren. Wir hatten quasi einen Privatkurs. 😀
Der Kurs war absolut professionell und Kris als unser Guide hat mir als absoluten Beginner stets ein sicheres Gefühl gegeben. Nach kurzer theoretischer Einsweisung, gefolgt von einer kurzen Einweisung im Pool, ging es dann direkt fußläufig ins Meer. Eine grandiose Erfahrung, die ich nur empfehlen kann.
Alle Mitarbeiter der Tauchbasis waren zudem mega freundlich und sympathisch.
Tip: direkt in der Tauchbasis buchen.

I took my 11 year old son to this dive centre and I could not be happier with them. Kris is a great teacher. The equipment is well maintained and the centre has a good location. Everyone was very friendly and I hope to come back.

Nice dive centre - good pool and teaching facilities and a well stocked shop. Decent hire kit which makes a big difference.
We did a couple of days diving with Kris - absolute star, really nice guy and told us lots about the island.
Weather conditions limited us to certain sites and mainly shore diving unfortunately else we’d have done more. We’re both experienced divers and wanted a bit more challenge (can’t be helped) - really good centre for beginners due to the facilities and some nice easy dives nearby.

I enjoyed the two dives to The Zenobia immensely. Mick, our guide, had visited over a thousand times. He was very keen to ensure we had a lot of fun and his knowledge was boundless. Highly recommended

Dyktige instruktører og tydelig opplæring i forkant av dykket. Dette var min første opplevelse med dykking med oksygentank og utstyr, og selve opplevelsen var tyngre enn antatt - men absolutt verdt det. Ved booking får du beskjed om å laste ned PADI-appen for å ta et sikkerhets-/helsekurs, og de gjennomgår også dette på selve dagen. De har dykkere med mange års erfaring som vet hva de driver med, er tålmodige og tar hensyn til alle på gruppa. Husk at det aldri er noen garanti for å se mye liv i havet, på min tur så vi derfor kun noen småfisk her og der. Du får også godkjent kurset i PADI-appen etter dykket. Perfekt tur for de som vil ha en smakebit på det dykking har å tilby

Absolutely excellent dive centre, very professionally run and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I did two scuba dives and enjoyed the experience immensely. Big up to Cy Dive 👍

As a new diver ( only done training dives ) these guys and girls really looked after me and made me not as nervous as I was when I walked in and advised me the best dives to do , 😆,did 3 dives over 2 days was absolutely amazing for my first ow dives ,Andrea and pascal really did look after me ,would highly recommend, and definitely use them again when in the area 😆😆😆,1 happy new diver 😆😆😆😆😆

Heb de afgelopen week een aantal dagen met deze duikschool gedoken en 3 specialties gehaald. Van tevoren had ik alles al geregeld en dat ging soepel door de goede communicatie met de medewerkers. Ik werd opgehaald en teruggebracht naar mijn hotel wat ook erg fijn was.
De instructeur waarmee ik gedoken heb, Gerald, beheerst de kennis goed en neemt alle tijd met je. Als andere duikers meegaan dook ik toch een-op-een met de instructeur.
Alle medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en enthousiast. Kan deze duikschool daarom ten zeerste aanbevelen.

my first experience diving was great. my instructor Pascal made feel really comfortable and checked on me regularly to make sure i was doing okay. i will be continuing my diving experience with Cydive

Having been so pleased with my previous experiences diving with CyDive, I returned this year and I was not disappointed. All the staff were very friendly, whilst also very professional.
Due to personal circumstances, I only managed 3 dives during my stay, but I would have liked to do more. I had 2 different guides / instructors (Gerard and Kris) and both were equally good.
It was a shame that CyDive’s boat was out of the water for repairs, but on one day they chartered a replacement, so I got one boat dive. The 2 shore dives were fine, although entry and exit were physically a bit more challenging. The guide / instructor lent a hand, where necessary, to ensure that we all had a good dive, without incident.
On 2 of the dives, there were only 3 guests. I was very pleased that the guide / instructor did not tell us to make a buddy “pair” of 3, but paired the other 2 guests and let me be his buddy. (I have had a bad experience of being one of a buddy “pair” of 3 on a previous holiday in New Zealand, but that is another story).
I was also very pleased that my first dive went ahead, even though I was the only guest. It was a shore dive, so there were no running cost for a boat, but still; some other organisations might have set a minimum number of guests.
All-in-all another excellent experience with CyDive.

Hi, have a 11 day holiday booked from 6th feb 2021, is diving, snorkeling still possible this time of year?? Or is it too out of season. Thanks in advance

The waters of Cyprus are diveable all year round.
I suggest a 5mm wetsuit with a Rash vest underneath for diving.
Cydive can supply the required wetsuit. You can get long sleeve Rash vests on ebay. I usually have 2 or 3 to change into, in rotation. Enjoy!

We are delighted to hear that you would like to try diving with us here at Cydive!
Luckily for you we start our Discover Scuba Diving experience in the swimming pool before heading out to the sea. This gives you time to get comfortable with the scuba gear before taking on any fish! The fish and marine life in Cyprus or the Mediterranean in general aren't as big in other places around the world, here we have smaller fish and slightly more of them.
The price for our Discover Scuba Diving course is 65 euros per person, and we run this program Monday-Saturday 9am and 13:30pm.

Hi Didier, yes we do organise snorkelling trips we have recently started a new trip to Akamas Nation Park and Bluer Lagoon which would be great for snorkellers! We can also take snorkellers on our boat dive as passengers.
