Everything as we remembered it, relaxing places, very well maintained with beautiful viewpoints, many signs indicating the various stages. It was the last day we opened. Too bad they left the road open with lots of tickets to pay, but refreshment points and most of the shopping and cultural places were CLOSED. Of course no notice either on the website or from the ticket office. That's not very correct.

Very nice route. Lots of vistas. Only lacking in dining options.
On top small tent with shop. Remember that if you come from Millstatter See that you turn around at the end in front of the barrier otherwise you really have to detour vef to get back. Free on Kärnten card

We decided to take this route included in the Carinzia card.
The most scenic part is certainly upon arrival with the beautiful dam and the possibility of taking lots of photos both of the landscape and on a glass and steel walkway totally suspended in the air
There is often a lot of wind.
In the parking lot upon arrival there is also a hotel with restaurant. We had lunch at the restaurant before entering the road

What a beautiful ride this is! We were amazed. There is also a fairly basic eatery, so don't expect too much from that. You mainly go for the route itself. We could drive it for free with the Kerntencard.

A beautiful panoramic road with a great view. Unfortunately, the inns are a bit old and do not seem as well maintained as on the other panoramic roads in the region.

We were there as a family. The road with its sights is wonderful! The road is in wonderful condition. The only thing I wish for families who go there after us is a hut to stop at where the playground is right next to the guest garden. The huts where we were did have little things for children, but you always had to go a few meters around the corner to see if everything was still OK. A little more clearly laid out would be perfect. The condition of the equipment was also very poor and long overdue. Slate on the limbs was inevitable. We had ordered our lunch at the Nockalmhof. We were not the only ones who were very disappointed there. We had lunch at the Nockalmhof on Thursday, August 17th, 2023. The staff was so short that only one lady was there, even though the tourist information advertises extensive culinary options. We ordered what was on the menu. Unfortunately, we only got frozen and canned goods. No exaggeration! We were very disappointed. All the information boards where hiking trails and information about the respective locations should be clearly legible were washed out so that you could hardly read a word. We are the last people to moan about so many things, but a really beautiful and well-laid out alpine path should also be looked after and cared for. And not just collect tolls and leave the flood of meaning behind me!

Mooie route, leuk om te rijden, maar geen hoogtepunt van de reis. Leuk om dus even te doen als je een middag wat tijd over hebt, maar we zijn in het verleden over mooiere wegen gereden.
