Superb venue! Excellent facilities, good atmosphere and great action! All the investments and improvements over the years means this place keeps getting better and better. Would reccomend.

Excellent night out watching Stock cars, bangers and Legends cars. Nice atmosphere, especially under floodlights.
Good value family evening out with reasonable bar and food prices. Kids loved the racing!

Gutted, after attending Gala NIght for several years, I think this will be our last. The fireworks are always good, other than a few years back when they were cancelled. But for the past several years most of the bangers don’t crash because there are other events around the date so they don’t want to damage their cars, they haven’t done a destruction derby in ages at gala night. The Stock Rods are always good to see but The stock cars are just Corsa’s racing around and the banger racing is just 1600s now. Before they’ve had unlimited bangers aswell with limos pick ups even a Rolls Royce shadow one year. But they haven’t had that for ages now. Usually aswell it finishes at 10pm time or near around where the stadium curfew is. Where as this year it finished at 9pm. Overall, experience was disappointing to say the least which is a deep shame as we are now finishing our tradition.

Normally come here once or twice a year for Bangers and it's not a bad place. It's improved over the years.
Pros
* A nice night out
* Big stadium
* Plenty of places to watch around the track (providing they don't close half off like they did one year)
Cons
* Expensive for food and drink
* literally nowhere to hide when the heavens open
* A better enterance into the stadium

We went for the banger racing and caravan destruction derby. There was plenty of parking, the racing was fun, the caravans were crazy, the kids loved it. The toilets were clean, there was food available and shops to buy merchandise. A really good experience all round

We tend to visit Foxhall for the hot rods world final, normally in July each each, but it was September in 2021 due to the pandemic.
Throughout my visits, the track has improved year by year, offering better seating options, better facilities (both food and toilets), which ends up with a better overall experience, whatever you are seeing.
Spedeworth who run the hot rods, run the venue with true professionalism, ensuring food is not overly priced, tickets remain affordable, and access/parking very easy and safe.
As with all stadiums, when it's raining there's not much cover, but minus the rain, it's one of the best viewing stadiums in the country.

We visited July 2021 with our two children, 13 & 11. It was our first time and can thoroughly recommend. Very helpful staff, safely social distanced, food was nice, toilets clean and a great atmosphere.
If seated in the stands, would recommend bringing a cap though, as there is no shade if it is really sunny.

We went for an Ipswich Speedway match. Great atmosphere, toilets and food and drink. It is at a decent price and you can sit where you like around the stadium.

Had many good nights out at Foxhall stadium either watching National Hot Rods or Banger Racing (now my boy loves it too)

I believe you can, its to the left of the main turn styles?
Do you need to take chairs to sit on or is it standing only?

You can bring chairs if you wish or sit on stadiums with flip up chairs or on the stone...blanket recommenced. there is an area with a shelter cover but be there early if required. various stands for items to eat, drink and photos and other items. will take student discount if relevant to you and credit/debit cards. Firework night and Banger Final are my favourites :)
